I bought an older version of this. In 2 years, the remote stopped working. Says it;s 58 degrees when it;s 80 degrees. No longer controls the temp. The fan is stuck on High. No other speed works. The temp sensor is no longer working. It's now 3 years old, and is a pain. Spend a little more and buy a Friedrich. The funny thing is, I have a 5,000 BTU Frigidaire, 4 years old, and it works GREAT. ... show more

This is is nice , but save your money and don’t buy a “smart ac”. The app is crap and doesn’t stay connected for more than a day or 2. Customer service is even worse. Unfortunately this is the only 10k btu unit that would fit in my window. Definitely don’t recommend if the smart feature is essential. You would think that Frigidaire is such a big company that they would invest in a decent app. ... show more
