    • Great traditional (compressor/condenser) type dehumidifier.
A very good dehumidifier, I live in the Pacific Northwest and I use it out in my garden shed because it's so damp here all the time and I was getting corrosion on my tools, lawn care implements and bicycles. I initially tried one of the cheaper dehumidifiers from Amazon that use a different technology, but that unit was poorly designed - the water just ran out the bottom of the case and not into the catch bucket. Also those other types work very well in cooler temperatures like out in an unheated shed. In a cold damp space there's just no substitute for a good old-fashioned compressor/condenser type dehumidifier like this one. My only complaint is the way the catch bucket is designed it takes a little while to drain the water out after removing it from the unit. My other dehumidifier bucket that I use in the garage is more open when you remove it from the unit and you can quickly dump it. A small nuisance on otherwise great product. They may have actually designed the catch bucket this way on purpose so you don't splash water on yourself. Also if you use the hose attachment this would be a non-issue. I may end up drilling a small hole in the side of the shed and use the hose instead. ... show more

    • Good but one minor problem
Does a good job so far (but it has only been months. I will update this when I have had YEARS of good service.) ONE ISSUE.... when it is set up for continuous drain, somehow some water leaks into the reservoir, so eventually after a number of weeks, it will shut down until you empty the reservoir that should never have collected any water. Not a big issue but you need to be aware of this.... i.e. keep an eye on it. ... show more

Works extremely well and the water collection is superb. The size is great - it is slim and not terribly noticeable. Only two issues are the noise it generates and the fact the water container is heavy for a smaller woman.

    • Four units and not one works correct
I would not buy this product. I have multiple Frigidaire appliances, such as a microwave, refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher and have not had an issue. However, this dehumidifier has been a nightmare. I just got the third replacement and fourth one in total. This has been going on since January. Not a single one of them have worked correctly. Was told initially I could get a refund, but then that was backtracked on. And then I requested a different model and then got sent the same model. And again this one’s not working correct either but doing something completely different than the first three did and still not working right. They sent me something to fill out for another claim, but I can’t even submit the form online because it doesn’t matter what I select it won’t let me. And the amount of hours I’ve lost via phone and chat trying to get this resolved, has not been worth trying any further. I’m not saying that they are a bad company at all. I would consider buying other appliances from them as I have not had an issue with my other appliances. But I would definitely stay away from this particular dehumidifier. ... show more

    • A really good dehumidifier...... for 4 months then a fan only.
unit has a 1 (ONE) year warranty from Frigidaire. It worked fine when received and thru the summer. When started in spring, 10 months later, it ran fine as a fan only. 18 hours of fanning produced 3 cups of water. I had followed maintenance steps in instructions prior to starting for new year. Contacted Firgidaire/Electrolux and was told "sorry to inform you that Seller (Home Super Center) is not an authorized dealer" basically good luck getting it replaced we only cover stuff when we want to. ... show more
