I bought this to replace a 1-year-old microwave that was smoking and had failed paint on the seam of the door-- which dangerous and scary. So was extra dissapointed to have this finally arrive (3 weeks late) to see the enamel paint, on the brand new microwave, at the door seal scratched to bare metal. Design flaw: Once the machine is done cooking the door WILL NOT open unless you first push the stop button-- which I guess is a safety feature to keep people from opening the door mid cycle? But AFTER the time has elapsed, the cooking is complete, the cycle is finished, the intuitive response would be for the machine to auto unlock the door so you could just push the door-open button, but,... no. You have to first push "stop" then push the door-open button. Takes some getting used to, but is most annoying in principle. There does not appear to be any way to program the machine for just 10 seconds or 20 seconds -- the lowest number appears to be 30 seconds. The dimensions are 1/4" deeper than described-- problematic for me because it's fitting in to a pre-existing cabinet and now it sticks out too far. Otherwise, it seems to be built solid, it's substantial looking and seems to cook fast and evenly, so I'm giving it 3 stars for that. ... show more

It heats good but that's about the only positive. The door does not unlock automatically after 30 seconds of finished cooking as described it would. It has a 2 step process just to open door, even when it isn't actively running (not the child lock feature, this is in addition to that). Also, it does not sit flush/flat! One of the 4 leg pegs on bottom is shorter, resulting in rocking and wiggle every time it's touched and door opened etc. Cheaply made and it shows! Spend a little extra money and avoid this, get a better brand. Lesson learned. ... show more

If the driver would have knocked on my door I would have had him put it inside. The product was double boxed and labeled HEAVY I am 80 years old and live alone. I guess I will have to have it returned if I can’t get it in my house.
