So happy to have found this white and gold microwave! Recently moved into a house that’s gold/white themed, and the options were slim… others I looked at had too many negative reviews, or they were too tiny. This microwave isn’t huge, but it’s large enough. Heats food evenly, and quickly. Easy to use, and looks great! Only thing that’s taking some getting used to is that you have to press the “stop” button before you’re able to open it, which is a little annoying when you’re checking food halfway thru, but it’s not a huge deal.     • Gorgeous microwave!
This is such a pretty microwave! I love the white and gold theme, and although I am a bit nervous about how it will look over time, for now it looks amazing. The microwave is, most importantly, measured accurately according to the photos. If it had been any larger, it would not have fit my stand, so I am glad it is accurate. The microwave does what it is supposed to, but it does suffer from the usual microwave issues, like sometimes leaving the top of food cold while the bottom is searing hot. Just the usual stuff with traditional turntable microwaves. One big gripe I have is that I am used to simply opening the microwave to stop it, but this one requires you to press the stop button first since it locks. I know that is more of a personal preference thing, and it is not that bad. The microwave is 900W, so it is a decent size. Not massive, but not one of the smaller ones either, kind of middle of the road like you would expect. Overall, it is a beautiful microwave, and it works, so there is not much to complain about so far! ... show more

First, the product dimensions are incorrect. I knew that there was no way the microwave was 20" deep. It is actually (per the diagram picture) 14.5". I also verified the wattage per the owner's manual as 1,000 watts, not 900. Verified the capacity at 1.1 cu' per the manual. The handle is one of the reasons that makes this microwave more attractive than the average white one (plus I just don't like the push button ones to open the door), but actual color is more of a rose gold/antique gold or almost copper color, not the yellow gold that is shown. It is also plastic, so not sure how long the finish will last on the handle with constant use. After unpacking the item, (and after measuring it), I read how to disable the 'child proof' function...very easy. The instructions are printed on a red label right on the front of the microwave. The microwave is almost as powerful as my over-the- range microwave and can handle full size plates. I purchased it because, living with Florida hurricanes, I needed one that would operate off of a portable generator when the power is out. My other "emergency microwave" was just too small. I discovered that I like the new one better than my over the range microwave because I'm short (5'3") and don't have to worry about taking out hot beverages and food that are over my head. Plus I don't like microwaves blasting at my head while I'm cooking at the stove. As I mentioned, it is almost as powerful, and can handle anything I care to cook in it. I also own two 'emergency' Frigidaire window air conditioners, and they have been amazing over the years. I'm hoping this microwave will be just as dependable. I plan to use it daily now.
