I bought the to keep a dementia patient for getting into stuff she shouldn't be getting into AND to keep her from opening the front door and walking away. These work great on the refrigerator and kitchen cabinets, but they don't work so well on front doors. She managed to yank the door open hard enough that she didn't exactly pull the lock from the wall, but pulled the lock and the paint and the plaster off the wall to open the door! Since they work so well elsewhere, I'm giving these one more try on the front door too... ... show more
