I have both this product and the lansinoah one. The Frida one is pretty cool the first time you open the package. It has that little metal that you click and it starts turning into that hot pad. The idea is great and it works until you have to go and boil it so it can turn back to the original form. Now after the first use i noticed that the gel is getting less in it and since ive used it twice so far (such a hassle to boil it every time) i can not tell if it will get smaller and not work for longer period of time. The Lansinoah one is with little gel like balls that you heat in the microwave. I've used that one a ton of times because its so much easier to toss it in the microwave for 15sec and repeat right away if you need it. No boiling needing. Again over time the balls pop, break or shrink and the package becomes smaller but i would prefer that due to the time it takes. Now depending where you are the pros and cons of these vary. If you are at home or have a microwave wherever you are, get the Lansinoah ones. If you are somewhere on the move, like a trip with the car and intend to use it just once or if needed, grab the frida mom. These are great for letdowns and also for clogged ducts. ... show more

I wish I could tell you that this product unclogged my blocked milk ducts. I wish it were that easy. I wanted it to be that easy. I bought it in a desperate attempt to avoid mastitis, which, sadly, I ended up getting anyway. If you’re looking for a product to fix clogs, this may or may not do it for you. It didn’t work for me, but hey, it could work for you. However, I would advise anyone buying this to manage their expectations. Unfortunately, there’s no one-size-fits-all fix. For me, my only way out of the clogged duct nightmare were supplements and patience. What this product DOES do is deliver comfort and relief quickly, and it does it well. I’m in awe of how the heating mechanism works (and may never understand it). I like that reusing them is a simple, straightforward process. So while it might not be a solution for clogs, it’s definitely something nice to have around when painful clogs rear their ugly heads. ... show more

These are working great whenever I get a clog. I can pump with them on or before or after. They don't trigger easily meaning I have thrown them into my lunch pail and they have been squished with food and were not triggered until I click the button. To get them back to liquid state I boil water on high then bring to medium throw the heat packs in, in 6 mins I put them in the strainer and wait for them to cool down. The only thing that doesn't make sense to me is you can only use this product for 30 days. I have been using mine for 6 months and have not had an issue. I pump 6 times in a 24 hour period, using them on almost every pump. I have the company about this and did not get a response. I have other heat packs and have had them for years. ... show more

    • Works great; having to boil sucks

So in theory this product is great. I’ve used it at home and during air travel. The product does stay warm for a really long time—much longer than the microwaveable warmers. Despite being effective, I think the boiling reset makes this product too complicated unless you’re purchasing 3-5 of these and have a constant rotation. The boiling issue sucks. It really does. To reset the warmers you have to 1) boil water 2) stick the warmers in a net 3) boil the warmers for 15 minutes and 4) take warmers off the stove after 15 minutes. You have to do this after every single use. It’s just super inconvenient and too time consuming. Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad for someone who purchased 3-5 of these warmers and boils their bottles/pacifiers/pump parts every night. But I’ve never met someone who boils parts every night; usually people wait a week or two or use a stand alone sterilizer. But although the boiling issue really sucks, I think this is a travel necessity. I use warmers every single time I pump to assist in my let down and when pumping on an airplane you don’t have microwave. Depending on the length of travel however you may need to order at least 2 or 3 of these because of the boiling issue. ... show more

This idea is genius and would be so useful on the road, while camping, away from home ect. However... The metal clicker that is inside the pouch that creates the chemical reaction will activate without being clicked by just barely being moved. So while I am transporting all my baby and pumping gear to go out of town and expected o be on the road for a few hours, I had thought I would be able to get heat relief while struggling to clear up a mastitis and come to find that the product was set off earlier while just chilling in the diaper bag.... I was bummed and in pain. I would like to think this was just a bad batch but when I discovered this product activated, I stopped at a Target while travel and purchased another set to use after I finished pumping on the road and when I opened the box to my disbelief the same thing appeared o have happened to the newly purchased set that I assume happened during shipping or stocking in Target since it wasn't warm to the touch. When I got to my destination, I followed the directions to dissolve the crystals, let them cool to room temp and the same thing happened in travel, they activated when I didn't touch them. Unfortunately I let my emotions get to the best of me and I threw both sets away wanting to not deal with the hassle of returning them since I have never had such issue with a product I have purchased from Amazon.
