  • Super finishing cut
Was building kitchen cabinets and not happy with the cut I was getting on my small Delta miter saw. The 40 teeth is the way to go and for my money you can't beat a Freud blade. This is a thin kerf blade and because my saw is so old, the hold-down on the saw bottomed out before the blade was held tight enough. A trip to the hardware netted a thin, large diameter rubber washer and that does the trick very nicely! ... show more

  • Excellent Long-Lasting Blade
This is my second blade of this type. I could have had the original sharpened since the tips are still in good shape even after heavy usage but the sharpening shop nearest home has closed up and I need to find somebody new to handle my blades. I've cut all manner of things with this "finish" blade and it has handled everything in my old DeWalt 18V saw. ... show more

  • Way better than my stock Makita blade.
I have an 18v Makita circular saw (http://www.amazon.com/Makita-Bare-Tool-BSS610Z-Lithium-Ion-Cordless/dp/B000VAGO18/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1366207529&sr=8-1&keywords=makita+18v+circular+saw) that's pre'tty handy to bring around as I need. I decided to use it to cut sheets of plywood for a project and wanted a smoother cut, and since I have a Diablo blade on my chop saw I went with this blade. The price is right and the cut is MUCH smoother than the original blade. I highly recommend this blade. On another note, since the kerf (blade thickness) is different than the oem blade I can no longer put a guide on the left side of my saw. It's almost impossible to measure 1.5" plus the odd difference in blade kerf. According to the Diablo website, this kerf is .059" which is like 1/17"... way beyond my ruler and math skills. Cutting on the right side still works though since the blade is pushed toward that direction when installing. Honestly, the "finishing" is hard to get the dimension I want with the circular saw if I'm looking for exact dimension, so I'll sometimes finish it up with my table saw. ... show more

  • Great on plywood
It's intended for plywood and does a pretty good job. I just finished cutting a bunch of 1/4 inch that had a very splintery veneer. The construction/contractor blade would just blow this stuff, switch over to this Diablo D0641X worked out great... very minor fraying and splintering.
