So I’ve had a back injury for 40 years, slip disc, L5. It doesn’t go out often but when it does now because I’m a lot older, it doesn’t go in as quickly. Chiropractor suggested I get a back brace. I did my research online and this back brace got good ratings for the Velcro holding up and also being comfortable and the size fitting. It does roll up a little bit and I haven’t worn it all day yet. I feel like it would not be comfortable if you had to sit in a chair all day which I do, but I will put it back on when I get up to have to walk to the bathroom or do filing. It looks like it would be bulky, but when you get it on it, it’s actually not that bad. I am a 54 waist and the 3X fits me great. It came with an extender, but I don’t need it. The quality is great and it looks like it will be durable but again I just got it. I’ve never won one before, but I would say that there is pretty good support. It allows me to stand up a little bit straighter, and I feel like I could lift things that I couldn’t lift without it.

This brace provides solid, comfortable support even for all-day use. The sizing seems accurate, with a belt extension if you run over the suggested maximum size, which is very useful. The belt is deep enough from top to bottom to provide support from the lower ribs right down to the hips, which covers almost every possible muscle and lumbar vertebra that might need assistance. I'll be buying another one of these, so I can wash one and wear one.

I bought the this back brace hoping for some relief from a couple of bulging discs that have been making me feel about 30 years older than I actually am. The support is sturdy yet flexible, and its adjustable straps allow you to customize the level of tension and compression, with the Velcro holding securely. It’s comfortable under clothing, not overly bulky, and it stayed in place without rolling—an issue some other braces are reported to have. There was no skin irritation, and the breathable material kept it from feeling too warm during wear. Unfortunately, it did not reduce back pain for the wearer; it simply made them more aware of the painful area, so it was returned. Nevertheless, the construction was reported to hold the lumbar region secure, which may help prevent further strain or injury.

I’ve purchased similar lumbar braces that do not give the same support as this. I have deep aching and burning pain due to bulging L3, L4, L5 discs with stenosis and use this while working a job that requires moderate to heavy lifting for a few hours each morning. The added side straps are easy to use, stay in place when I’m bending, and I can feel the change in support when I tighten them. The lumbar pad puts a perfect amount of pressure on my spine and now I can’t imagine using my previous braces that did not have one. I’m glad I found this, as it allows me to get through my mornings at work without too much pain. I do a lot of bending and twisting, and during a two hour shift I might have to adjust the brace once or twice, due to it moving a 1/2 inch or so. I’d say that’s to be expected. Overall, I’d recommend this. I can tell the immediate difference when I’m wearing it.

The Freetoo WP-25 has a support spine down the middle that many cheaper braces lack. It is comfortable and just what I need for my L4-L5 disc. The tightening system is awesome. Very adjustable and the hook and loop materials used stay in place without sticking to everything you don't want it to stick to. I bought the medium according to the charts for my 39 inch waist measured across my navel and it's perfect. If needed it comes with an extender. It appears to be of high quality light weight material. It should last a long time.
