There’s a little bit of a learning curve on this, but once you figure out what all the buttons do and what you can and cannot do when some features are on or off, everything works great as it should. It is definitely not GoPro quality, but it is perfect for my use to recording some riding footage and as a dash cam for insurance purposes. The Bluetooth works great with my iPhone, which sits on a tank bag right in front of me. If I’m listening to music and a call comes in, the music pauses so I can answer and chat on my phone, then resumes when the call is ended. Some of the prompts are a little hard to understand, but others are clear as a bell. There appears to be two different voices… One for all the Bluetooth features and one for the recording and Wi-Fi features. You don’t need the app unless you want to view videos instantly… However, using the app to set up the features of the unit is much easier by utilizing the settings section. For the price, this unit is well worth spending some time to learn how to use it ... show more

Setup takes a bit as you have to install this on your helmet, but it's not too tricky if your helmet is set up for this kind of thing, and most nowadays are. The image quality is good for 2k, better than 1080p, I can't help but yearn for 4k however. The buttons aren't too hard to access, but there's some memorization involved so you know all the functions, and I'll warn you ahead of time because it's December here in Ohio and quite chilly, it can be tough feeling the buttons with gloves on. For most of you the riding stops when it gets cold anyway, so that won't be a deal breaker for most. Just know that when gloved, it can be challenging. So far the battery life seems good, the quality of the unit itself seems good, but I really haven't taken super-long rides with it, and it hasn't yet been through a torrential downpour of rain (fingers crossed it won't, either).
