It was shipped in a proper amazon box, the blister pack was sealed so I knew I got brand new items. No damage, no rust. I was quite excited to put this to use, as this is my only US made 1000V insulated set of tools. My only complaint is the stickiness of the diagonal cutters. They were also dirty as you can see in the photo. After several applications of oil, pivot action improved a bit, but not as smooth as that of the lineman's pliers. The lack of closing stopped on the wire stripper was a bummer. So I made a DIY solution using Velcro straps that slides over the handles. Not elegant but it does the job. Update: November 2, 2023: Great set. The diagonal cutter works fine now. I grew to appreciate a bit of stiffness on the pivot as it afforded better handling. ... show more
