PROS: Provides a very close shave, much better and quieter than the Chinese knockoff shaver I was previously using. Cleaning the shave head is much easier as well since it is a fully self contained part that can be removed from the main device for easy cleaning. CONS: I do wish the USB charging cable was a standard USB-C style charger instead of the proprietary style that comes with it. That would make it much easier for me to travel with it since I have plenty of spare USB-C cables when I travel. Also the device is a little boxy, not as contoured as my previous shaver so it's not as comfortable to hold as I would like. While it comes with attachments for nose trimming and beard/mustache trimming (with various sized guards), using the trimmer to shape edges of my beard or mustache is a little clunky dye to the position where the attachments are placed. Makes it hard to see where you are trimming. OVERALL: though I listed more CONS than PROS, I'm VERY happy with the product so far due to the quality and close shave I'm achieving on my scalp with the device. It performs the primary function very well and that's what matters most to me. Improvements to the accessories and contour would take it over the top.

I really like this razor it's not the closest shave that I've had but it works great it is a little noisy but it does the trick it's easy to hold on to I can get it in the shower quick and easy in and out I have an extra head that I alternate with and keep one clean while the other is ready to roll that's a nice little routine. This thing has some RPMs I think that's why it's so noisy but noise doesn't bother me I'm shaving my head I like machinery this thing is cool. I like loud scooters and cool machines this is something that scratches the itch for me so if you're into that yeah it's decent I don't know that anyone is better than any other I've had a couple different varieties. As I stated it's not the exact closest shave but it's close enough for getting it done and out the door which is what's important to me. Good stuff man I recommend it

I read a mountain of reviews before finally pulling the trigger on the Freebird Pro Bald Head Shaver. After using it myself, I can confidently say: this thing understood the assignment. First off — yes, it actually works. You get a smooth, clean shave without turning your scalp into a crime scene. No nicks, no razor bumps, no regret. That alone deserves applause. Now, if you’re expecting your head to go from “lost member of a rock band” to “brand-new bowling ball” in 30 seconds, relax. It does take a little time to get everything perfectly smooth… but honestly, that’s probably a good thing. Slow and steady beats looking like you fought a lawn mower and lost. A lot of reviewers said to go with the Pro version, and they were right. The accessories are actually useful instead of just being random plastic decorations thrown into the box. The trimmers work surprisingly well too — even handled my mustache without any issues. One important tip: if your hair is longer than an inch or two, do NOT try to send the Freebird in like it’s a landscaping tool. Trim it down first, then let the shaver finish the job. Your scalp will thank you. Ever since I started using this thing, my son refuses to call me Dad anymore. Now I’m just “Mr. Clean.” At this point I’m one gold chain away from cleaning kitchen counters in commercials. #vangoughpicasso

This product works well and gets a pretty low cut. Most of the time I shave my head with a razor, but occasionally I don’t shave for a few days or I don’t feel like using a razor I will shave with this. It does a great job. Takes about 8-10 minutes to do my whole head and that’s only because I like to go over it a few times to make sure I got everything. Cleaning is an easy process. You have to make sure you like it occasionally though or it makes a whining sound when you cut. Battery lasts an ample amount of time. I have only had it die once and that’s after 10 cuts.

I used this shaver for 2 weeks. During that time I contacted Freebird several times regarding best use and maintenance. Their response was nearly instantaneous, friendly and helpful. But, finally, the shaver just did not work for me. I have tried various other handheld rotary head shavers and found them to generally fail pretty quickly, or be otherwise unsatisfactory. I read about how Freebird developed the PRO as an upgrade to the earlier Flex, and was hopeful. The comparison I made was to a Panasonic Arc 5, a device that the maker does not even recommend for head shaving, but which actually does an excellent job. Its problem is that shape of the shaving head is more suited to the flatter planes of the face than the curves of the scalp, so it just takes longer. The PRO looks to be well constructed although, except for the blade beads it’s mostly plastic. Here’s where the PRO was lacking for me: 1. Its shave is just not nearly as close as the Arc 5, even with repeated passes 2. The head assembly did not flex as much as others I’ve tried. At times, instead of cradling my head, it felt as though it was just sitting on top of it. 3. Cleaning is more involved than I’m ready for. I put the basic head assembly under running water and a fair amount of gunk showed in sink water. But then, because there had been some recommendations that the head assembly needed to be disassembled, I did this, very carefully holding everything together, to running water over a freshly cleaned sink. More gunk. So, apparently this disassembly and cleaning needs to take place after every use. These spaces are incredibly tiny and it wouldn’t take much to affect performance. But because the PRO doesn’t cut too closely, I would need to use it daily. This coupled with the cleaning routine is just more hassle than I’m ready for. Finally, Freebird seems like a good company, except for their recommendation that the blade assembly be replaced after every 50 shaves. Either the blade assembly is not well made, or this is just a $ grab. I know of no other manufacturer of any similar device that would recommend replacement this frequently.

Pros: Great shaver. Works and speeds up the shaving process. Great for a beginner or somebody who wants to switch it up from a straight/5 blade razor. Cons: If FreeBird could find a way to have this electric shaver get as close as a 5blade shave I would 5 stars. That’s my only complaint and price of replacement shaving heads way too expensive. Overall great product.
