I was very excited about this shoe/boot rack. I’d purchased a smaller one a lot like it a couple of years ago that worked really well. This rack was bigger and four inches off the ground - easier to clean up after the dried dirt had dropped from muddy boots. I expected the same quality as the first boot rack I’d purchased, but didn’t get it. This boot rack is very lightweight and flimsy. Putting it together, I could never screw it down tight enough or reach a point that the legs and pegs would stop turning. In just a few days, the pegs for holding boots starting bending at the base, and the legs buckled underneath from the weight of few rubber boots, evenly distributed and not even a full rack. The screws weren’t bending, it was the grommet or insert at that the end of the peg popping out. They were just not deep enough inside the pole/boot peg and the metal it’s made out of is cheap and very lightweight. Save your money and keep shopping for a better one than this. ... show more

I put this right on top of an air vent so when we come in with sweaty Boots they dry real quick.. but it keeps the boots open and off the floor it looks super sharp

I would not buy this item again. The portions that go up into the air for the boots to lay on are extremely wobbly no matter how much you tighten them.
