  • 7.5ft heavily flocked unique tree
Size: 7.5 Ft. Style: Clear Smart String Lighting
I purchased this tree on the recent prime day and got it for a steal! I read a lot of reviews and decided to take one reviewers note. I got the tree out and set it up outside to get the initial excess flocking off. The tree went together really easily and I fluffed it out over an hour or so. It looks exactly like the photos. It was very tightly packed and I think the first time you get it out of the box will be the hardest to get it full and nice. Get this tree if you are looking for a unique looking flocked tree. I am planning on using this tree in my formal living room, I think it will look great dressed up with my best fancy ornaments. In my opinion this tree is not a first timer fake tree. You need some knowledge on how the branches come out only because the flocking is heavy and makes the branches stick together a bit. ... show more

  • Great Prime Day Find!
Size: 7.5 Ft. Style: Clear Smart String Lighting
I was in the market for a new Christmas tree and found this on a Prime Day Sale! I wasn’t super optimistic because of how inexpensive it was but as soon as it came in, I could tell by how large and heavy the box was that it was going to be a nice tree. My husband surprised me and put it up! As with any flocked tree, it created a bit of a mess to set up but nothing a few minutes of vacuuming couldn’t fix. He said assembly was very easy. Overall I’m super happy with it and can’t wait to decorate it! Although it’s not yet Halloween… ... show more

  • Lovely Realistic Tree. 6.5' with UPDATE
Size: 6.5 Ft. Style: Unlit
I bought the 6.5 ft tree, to downsize. I can't climb ladders anymore. I've always wanted a flocked tree. Realism was my primary goal. Real trees are never perfect; nature grows branches and tips in all sorts of directions. I wanted a tree that reflects nature. I chose an unlit tree, so I could put LED lights with the features that I want on it. I'll put them on permanently, using 4" white zip ties. I did this years ago on our old tree. It takes time, but you end up with exactly what you want with no compromise. I'll use 2 sets of 200 LEDs, one set on the bottom, one set in the middle, and 1 set of 100 LEDs on the top section. More on that later. Frazier firs, my favorite, grow in layers, allowing for decorations. This tree fits the bill. The photo was taken right after I took it out of the carton, with minimal fluffing. I spent about 20 minutes fluffing as I assembled it. Please note that like all other artificial trees, the height includes the stand, so this 6.5' tree height includes the stand. The base is heavy and well-made; so is the tree. I have one reservation, which is why I docked one star: I believe the tree was folded up (tightly) before the flocking was 100% dry. A lot of limbs stuck together. The individual tips in particular, were stuck together. When you're initially setting it up, it's easy to break or pull a tip off. I lost 3. However, a lot of tips are stuck into binding wrapped around the limbs, so they're easy to put back. I worry that this fragility will be a problem down the road. It's for this reason, I've thought of returning it. I think I'll contact Frazier Hill Farms to see what they say. I really love the tree. I'll contact Frazier Hill Farms and I'll let you know what they say and my decision. UPDATE: I Sent an email to Frazier Hill Farms about the tree. I got an email back, with a claim number. They said they'd look into the problem. I've decided to keep the tree. It really is beautiful. I've loosened the tips that were stuck together. You just need to do this carefully; don't just yank them apart. Work your way around them. I installed the lights today. It's now a "pre-lit" tree. It took 7 hours to install the lights. I decided to do this myself, because I wanted certain features. I now have precisely what I wanted, plus I saved $150 by doing it myself. I bought a total of 500 lights: a strand of 100 and 2x 200 light strands. The 100 light strand went on the top, and the others went on the middle and bottom sections. Obviously, each section was done separately; I did the top first, then the bottom, and the middle last. I bought 500 4" zip ties to tie the lights in place. I clipped the excess zip ties as I installed them. I stood the top up in a box with a hole, sitting on a table, while I installed the lights. I started on the bottom, with the cord end of the lights, so I ensured the location of the plug. I work with the lights on. The tree is layered. I worked each limb, around the tree (on all layers) starting on the bottom layer first. I used zip ties where necessary, averaging 5-7 per hinged limb. I tried to make sure the lights were as even as possible. When I did the bottom section, I put it on a table to make it easier on my back. Once again, I did each layer, starting on the bottom. I installed the middle and repeated the process. If you do thus, take your time. 7 hours layer, I put the top in place. I think the lights are even. My one regret was that I couldn't find white corded lights with the features I wanted. Tomorrow, I'll install the pinecones and berries. I used Joomer Color Changing LED lights. They have a true, slow random twinkle. ... show more

  • Arrived with 2 broken branches
Size: 9 Ft. Style: Clear Smart String Lighting
I rated this tree 4 stars ONLY because I got it half price on Amazon prime day. I pay $225 for the 9 ft tree. It is NOT worth more than that. Full price is way overpriced for the quality of this tree. Two branches are broken, the branches do not go all the way to the base of the tree (as pictured) and it’s somewhat lopsided. Had I not purchased it during prime days at a heavy discount I would be returning it. ... show more

  • I've died and gone to heaven
Size: 7.5 Ft. Style: Unlit
This is the kind of tree my family always got when I was growing up and in my younger adult married years (still married) that I and my wife got each season. There used to be a local business called Allied that did many things, it was an old war surplus store from wwII that grew into a general merchandise store, in fact, their slogan was "if we don't have it, you don't need it". Anyway, each Christmas season they would put up huge tree lots selling this and other species of trees and many of them were pre-flocked. The cheapest was $19.99, and the most expensive was $49.99. You would just roll in, walk around the covered area for the flocked trees and choose from hundreds. They would bag it and help you tie it to your car. It was a magical time to be alive in my opinion. well, as you know, now live trees are about half the price of an artificial tree or worse, and they weren't flocked. those were even more! so I have lived the last 15 to 20 years with this new type of tree (to me) that looks like a cone (its very pretty, just not what I grew up with) about 6 years ago, I found one cone shaped one which is flocked and its been a good tree. We would alternate each year between the green one and the flocked. Then I notice this Cyber Monday, as I just happen to be search Amazon for artificial trees. why? I don't need one. I already have 2. Then I see this baby. Its the kind that I grew up with. It looks petty good in the pictures. The price isn't too bad either, at about $140.00. One of the reviews I read, they guy said how it wasn't too terrible but not for the $300 he paid. well, I realized this was normally a much more expensive tree so I ordered it. Now for the actual review: I'm not sure if it was boxed then flocked or the other way around, or if it was set up, flocked, then quickly boxed. It may also have been that the guy holding the flocking gun stopped to talk to someone a few times as he sprayed the stuff as there are a few areas where its quite thick. A lot of the branches are stuck together and you have to pull the apart and straighten them. some of the branches went straight to the side of the box and are then bent in a 90 degree angle and the flock is smashed flat against the box so it looks pretty hammered when you get it out, but even in that condition I could see it. It was the tree of my childhood. (Don't know why i'm feeling a little emotional just now) So, with some effort (and with a mask so I don't breath so much flock dust) I methodically straighten and flatten (that's the way this tree is shaped as you see in pictures) its pretty nice! its also not perfectly symmetrical just like real ones aren't. It really is a nice tree, Charlie Brown. Its very nice. I'm happy with it. Now when I put it away, I will close up the branches much more carefully and fold them up against the trunk straight before putting it back in the box that way the next time I take it out it won't look like "bad, bad Leroy Brown" if you get the reference. (like a jigsaw puzzle with a couple of pieces gone) for you young pups. ... show more
