This is a wonderful sized narrow tree! It has a TON of lights, and it's ridiculous easy to put up and take down. It looks great, and with a little re-fluffing each year is just as full as it was last year. This one has now been used for 3 seasons. I have not had any issue with lights going out or broken limbs. I re-store mine in the original box (except of the top piece, because I can't get it to fit)! My ONLY disappointment is that it when you turn it on, it does not default to "on solid." The default setting goes through all the settings over and over - and if you like the feel of a disco party, this is definitely the tree for you. It's not a huge deal as there is a button you press to select what cycle you prefer. Mine is #7 - solid. I also would love it if it if that setting would stay as your default instead of having to choose again each day. A minor inconvenience for such a gorgeous tree. The tips of the tree uses a plastic polymer while the inside is the standard looking greenery. The plastic tips make the tree look much more realistic. I like the slim version as this still allows me to use all of my ornaments and achieve a full looking tree. My new house is much smaller and the larger diameter trees were too big. The "pencil" tree would have been too narrow for my needs. I would definitly recommend this tree!!! ... show more

    • Remote/foot pedal bad news!

The tree was nice with space to hang ornaments freely. The led lights were plentiful and bright. The remote/foot pedal was cheap and chintzy with 8 modes of crazy flashing. There was no switch to keep it remained on steady light and it kept circling thru all the modes. Also, I use a room remote for all my holiday lighting. It worked with this tree but you still had to get up and change the mode on the remote/foot pedal because it does not remain on the original mode set which was steady. This was a real pain. I called customer service(very nice) and they were going to send me a new remote/foot pedal. I agreed to it but after I hung up the tree would flicker on and off just hanging an ornament. I already wasted 2 days putting it together and hanging some ornaments. What if the foot pedal wouldn’t correct the problem? Then that would be more time wasted. Decided to just return. Please not I purchased this tree mid October. They said I was past return of 30 days. Well, there is a year warranty on the tree?!!!this is a Xmas item. I started putting tree up Nov29 Did they think I was putting it up in October? I had a very nice service agent at Amazon who helped me. They would accept the return but I had to pay a re-Stocking fee. I returned the tree. Don’t even want to put up a tree now so fyi, buyer beware of the details. ... show more

    • Lights do not work properly.

I received this tree in October hoping to get a jump on the season as soon as I received it I put it together. Made sure that the lights work and they did. I went to decorate it and the lights work. But then, after the tree is on for about 10 minutes, sections of light flicker off and on. If you cut the tree off for a while and then cut it back on they come on but then after it’s on for 10 to 15 minutes cut off again. So in my opinion, it’s a piece of junk. And I have learned my lesson never to buy a pre-lit tree ever again. ... show more
