Great item, priced fair here on Amazon. And this is going to help a kid with many different things from bat timing to building confidence. If you can hit these consistently you will be hitting the ball with a normal sized bat with no issue..

I got this and a bag of 50 golf ball-sized wiffleballs as an additional hitting station for practices for my son's AAA Little League team that I'm managing. The kids love it, they think it's fun to try to hit the smaller wiffleballs. I don't have any real proof, but I believe it's also helping their hand-eye coordination a lot--between the small size of the golf ball wiffleballs and the narrow bat barrel it takes real concentration to make good contact. I was very impressed with the quality of the bat as well. It's thick-walled aluminum, so even though it's very narrow it feels like it's not going to bend or dent without some real force. Granted these are 9yo boys, so it's probably a matter of time before someone dings it, but it's held up remarkably well so far. ... show more

    • Great for hitting mini wiffle balls
This is a good bat for my 10 year old to hit off the Personal Pitcher Machine. It makes it more difficult to hit the little wiffle balls. Improves hand eye coordination. Probably too short for older kids.
