Then gets frustrated when she tries to bounce it off the little trampoline and it just winds up coming back to her instead of in the basket. It may be do to user error 😉 😜.     • Better off assembling using the picture

Probably more 3.75 stars. :) after 3 attempts of putting it together and restarting, i finally started over one more time BUT I just pulled up the picture of the product online, zoomed in, and put it together using the pictures. If you gift this, i 100% recommend that you put it together for the person you are giving it to (seriously, don't do that to your friend). If it's for your family, then just use the picture as your main guide, and the sheets of paper with words on it (i refuse to call that booklet directions) as your secondary. Once i did that, i got it together fairly easily. Seriously, PICTURE...zoom in - you'll thank me for that advice. I do wish there was a volume adjuster, but i simply put duck tape over the speaker and that helped (cause duck tape is everyone's best friend). It's a fun game. Don't expect miracles, it's still a 'made in china' toy. But once you get it put together, it's actually pretty neat. ... show more

Although this is a wonderful product and gift idea, it is a lot smaller than I expected and it slides all over the table! IT NEEDS GRIPS ON THE LEGS FOR SURE!!!! the net around it doesn't catch the ball either. we are running everywhere to gather the balls because they bounce outside of the net area making it a very frustrating game to play and you can't reset the high score after cheaters tap the hoop buttons to rack up the score. ... show more

I read a lot of reviews that talked about the difficult assembly. There were some confusing parts in the middle that I just had to ignore and take a best guess at based on the picture of the product. This worked out for me. This game is pretty fun. The trampoline is a little tricky and you have to get it just right, but one you get the hang of it it’s fun. The timer screen has one dead spot on it, but it’s just a single line/section of one number, so it’s not really an issue. I recommend it. ... show more

I thought this would be a nice idea for my grandson. It was flimsy and not stable like something such as this should be. It fell apart often when using it, and had to be fixed. Sorry my grandson was so disappointed, made me regret buying it.

I gave this item 2 stars just because when I contacted the Franklin parts department, they got back to me the same day with information that was key to assembly. I had thought that one of the bags of pieces, piece L - the 3-way joints - was missing. They are actually pre-installed. And on step 5, where it looks like you need to assemble the entire top structural support, all you really do is pop parts A into the already assembled pieces (B and L). The picture of it assembled is also misleading because it looks like there are two parts that will hang off the back. This is not the reality. I saw a lot of posts about terrible installation experiences, so I figured I'd post what I found out. With that said, outside of those two things and the instructions generally not being clear at all (I had to use the picture on the box a lot), it didn't take all that long to put together. I would have given it more stars, even after some assembly struggles, though if the gameplay were decent. But the angle of the trampoline is all wrong and when you bounce the balls on them, they just hit the "50" marker in the center, no matter what angle or strength you use, and the whole thing topples over because it's too top-heavy. So, yeah, I have to agree with others, don't waste your money. My son ends up just slamming the balls into the basket without the bounce, which kind of defeats the whole purpose. And that, of course, bored him after the first time and he hasn't touched the thing since. ... show more

Assembly is a bit tricky because the included instructions are subpar, but it's not impossible to figure out how to get everything together. Once assembled, it's quite sturdy and ours does NOT fall apart at all. The most difficult thing during play is the trampoline. You really have to bounce the ball in a specific part of the trampoline to get it in the basket. Otherwise, the ball comes bouncing toward YOU or sideways out of the game. Aim for the center of the front of the trampoline and you'll be able to get it in the basket. Sometimes we ignore the tranpoline completely and just shoot the balls in the baskets for a more consistent experience. The speakers are loud and clear, the game is fun to play after some trial and error, and it folds away for easier storage. Build quality is good but not exceptional, which is why I deducted a star. ... show more
