I have tried multiple sun shades for the RC remote and each I have tried had their positives and negatives, but of all of them I love this one best. It is super easy to attach this to your remote like most sun hoods, and this hood is fantastic at keepding the dust from accumulating on the remote and around the flight sticks. What really sets this sunhood apart is the hinges. Its a series of interlocking rings with a bolt run through them. The hood, is held securely closed agaisnt your remote case by 2 little pieces on the side wings, but to open the hood jsut grab the front hinge and lift. It lifts smooth and stays and stays where you want it instead of according to factopry made indents. The sun shade that flips out has the same kind of hinge as the main hood and works jsut as smooth. I often use that sun shade to block the light between my hat and the hood. There are many ways to use the hood and the extended shade, you will just have to find what works for you. There is an included tool to adjsut the hinge resistance which I had ot use to get the hinges to hold position at first. Once adjusted they have worked great without further adjustment yet. The included lanyard is good and easy to use, but I tend to not use it much right now. The included screen protectors are great and I really can't say anything about them that would make them any different than anyother you could get, but they are a perfect fit, and are easy to apply. You get 2 of them! This is easily one of the best accessories I have ever received for my mini 3 pro and I highly recommend this hood. The hinges on this simply make that much difference compared to other hoods.

Knew it was used, but figured they would’ve at least replaced damaged parts such as the cracked arm, still flies, but is extra noisy, which kind of sucks

What a great addition to my DJI Mini 3 drone controller! This solves at least four big problems for me - first, in bright sunlight, the controller screen is hard to read and this kit provides a sun shield. Second, those little control sticks that have to be removed are small and easy to lose in the field - when closed, this kit's cover allows the sticks to remain in place and covers them nicely so they won't get damaged. Third, it's way too easy to drop the controller and this kit's wrap-around cover provides additional protection. The kit also includes a screen protector! Finally, I'm always worried about where to set the controller down when I'm fiddling with the drone. This kit comes with a nice, adjustable neck strap that solves that issue. My only (minor) complaint was the lack of instructions with the kit. Having said that, putting the screen protector on was the same process as putting one of a phone or tablet, and I've done that many times before. Putting the sunscreen case on was easy as well. It slips over the top and secures with two thumb screws. The neckstrap is attached in a similar manner. Overall, this kit has way more features than I expected and makes flying my drone in the field a lot safer and easier.

The strap is better than some others. The cover does protect the joysticks. Doesn't really provide shade for screen. Decent accessories. The 2 screen protectors are a bonus.
