The media could not be loaded. I rarely get this excited when using inexpensive electronics, but this tool saved me countless hours and hundreds of dollars in electrical and drywall repair. I have a home built in the 1940s and anytime I work on a project, I am scratching my head anytime I see the previous owner made a shoddy attempt to DIY it his way. Since owning this borescope, here are some of the things I've been able to accomplish - run ethernet through the stone foundation with minimal space for any tool, and almost impossible if using fish tape blindly - gain access to behind drywall to map out where existing electrical lines are - save two drill bits that fell behind drywall using the included magnet attachment - help rewire a doorbell - inspect random nooks and crannies around my house to quench my curiosity The picture quality is fine, the light on the front is bright, as you can see in the picture/video, and the length has always been enough for my needs. There was one instance where I needed to travel in a straight line, and I found it a lot easier to tape this to a fish stick, as opposed to feeding it unassisted down the shaft. When using it, you do need to be patient to work it into the location you are looking for, but if you compare this to the commercial borescopes that are motorized and controllable, this is enough for residential use. The attachments are good, the magnet saved me and the hook helped pull some wires. I ended up using electrical tape to secure the tools to the head as I did not want to lose them, and that seems to be the best method thus far. The app is fine. Don't expect a commercial-grade app, but I had no issues using this on my iPhone. I would 100% buy this again, and unless it fails me at some point in the future, you can assume it is still going strong.

Excellent piece of equipment. I needed to remove these torx screws to be able to replace my car door handles. The thing is that you could only remove them thru a small hole on the door side and they are about 2-2.5” deep from where the opening is and unless you had a magnetic head torx screwdriver, which I didn’t, the screw will definitely fall to the interior of the door. Only one fell to the bottom of the door which I was able to retrieve. To make matters worse you couldn’t simply remove the door panels and reach them. You had to remove a second panel and tape the window glass. Even worse some of the bolts to remove this second door panel kept spinning and wouldn’t come out. I tried ordering these screws from the car dealer and they could not find them or order them for that matter. I’m telling such a simple thing became a whole nightmare. With this small camera I was able plug it to my IPhone and see everything on the screen after downloading its app. I just introduce the head with its lights thru the hole and locate where they were. They happened to be stuck on the inside of the door. I was then able to insert a bent clothes wire hanger and tip them to the bottom which has a small opening where I was able to retrieve them. I can see myself using this tool for so many other things.

Easy to set-up and connect, great images, very useful, but not waterproof. I've used this for automotive to check check brake pads, plumbing to see into walls and pipes, and to check for leaks in my pool. Worked great until I checked for leaks around my pool light, then started acting funny, then died the next time I went to use it. My guess is that it leaked and shorted out the circuit board. I loved this little device until it died after using in my pool. I initially had trouble with the connection, but after using a couple of times figured it out, it is slightly non-intuitive.

I mainly purchased this Endoscope to look inside bird nest boxes we have installed in a nature reserve to help our Native Birds. It works well very good picture . my only "Con" is that the stiff and unbending camera head is longer than expected which limits its ability to go around a sharp bend. When I poke it through the box opening and then have it shaped to look down its too close to the bottom of the box to get a true look at the entire box contents (I have almost touched the bird nestling's) I have looked at many other brands and it seem that most are also just as long. As a simple endoscope this is very effective.
