Have just finished my first 2 oz container and am well satisfied. Active ingredients seem to penetrate well and do provide relief. The balm seems a bit slow acting initially but is long lasting. I like to use it after a round of early morning golf (after a shower of course!) and then apply again prior to going to bed. I'm convinced the balm calms the "after round" soreness and certainly allows for a more pleasant sleep. Is a good product to try. Note: The binding agent of the balm is a beeswax. I'd recommend a t-shirt (or some type of cover) at bed-time to keep off of bed sheets. Also, after application, the beeswax can be mildly troublesome in removing from hands while washing. I keep plastic gloves in the garage for some of my work projects - brought some in and now use when applying the balm. Not only helps with cleaning up but also helps with application and virtually no friction!

Strength ease of applying

Mmn mhmn, this was a miss. Feels hard & a lil sticky? (Closest word i know right now to the actual feeling). It's not smooth to apply & i dont like the way it sits on my skin. Can't return it. I will say while I've used products that give instant relief & this 1 takes awhile (for me, ~ 10 minutes give or take), it does give some soothing relief. In summation: Gives soothing relief + Very firm texture that makes it hard to apply - Sticky texture as well - Doesnt feel good the way it sits on versus melting into my skin - Takes a bit to feel the effect; not instant relief - Additionally, can't return it - Has 1/5 of the things i was seeking, but since the most important was its efficacy with pain relief, even if it takes a little bit, it works, so i ranked it a 3. ——————————————————————— UPDATE 5/6/23: so i been playing 'round with the application method of this balm & another that's inspiring me to bump this baby up to 4 stars — 1st i apply dr.bronner's arnica-menthol organic magic balm which feels buttery on my skin & works much more subtely, then i use the back of my nail to gently scrape out some of this max. strength hemp balm (instead of the pad of my finger) & apply that on top — not only does it blend a lot better into my skin, the sustained relief is magical! I noticed my knee moved a lot smoother & stronger the following morning. Still has a lil sticky afterfeel, but much less so, absorbs into skin quicker, & relief comes through faster. I will be repurchasing.
