This looks sturdy and fit perfectly in my 2017 Wrangler JK (2 door). I don't understand the comment about looking chintzy, because the one I got does not. I also saw some comment about the spacer not fitting properly. I thought I had that issue, but once I turned it over it fit perfectly. The instructions are junk. I took out the 2 visible screws, popped out the plastic insert, then removed the 2 interior bolts using a 8mm socket with extension. It is obvious which end goes up on the mic holder, but the spacer on the other end is not so obvious. If it doesn't look right when you fit it up, turn the spacer over before reinstalling the bolts. ... show more

I used this mount for my Midland MXT275 radio mic. The mount was installed in a 2017 Jeep Wrangler JKU. Installation was simple, easy. The mount works perfect and looks great. It is a quality made product and I highly recommend.
