I've used this brand and this specific product many times. This year, I decided I needed to repot all my plants, plus a few new ones. The old soil was just that, old. I find repotting in the same size pot or a slightly larger one every few years is a great practice. So... 87 plants later and SIX BAGS later, all my plants have survived the shock of being manhandled and are doing well. This soil now retains water better than the old stuff, and provides a happy place for roots. I can recommend this brand and product. Happy to have found this stuff.

I am that person that buys a ton of soil from another brand. It is always so wet and hard to carry from the door to where it is intended to go. Had to bring my wheel barrow in to get a bag out of the box to my beds. THIS soil however, came in nice lightweight bags, the soil is not water logged, and the bags have HANDLES. I am a single 5'3" female. I dont have anybody to lug bulky bags around for me. So yes I do like the convenience. The soil just simply smells good. It is airy and was easy to plant seeds and transplants in. For a few bucks more, and knowing of the quality from what I have read in other reviews both here and off site... and it has lots of beneficial stuff like mycos etc. I just ordered 8 more bags. I am a fan for life. No soil gnats like other brands that I have purchased. +++ bonus. Almost every other brand that I have purchased come with gnats and they are a pain to get rid of.

Good dirt but expensive. I used this with a mixture of coconut coir ,peat moss and some old hay and cow p..p from the pasture with really good results

I really love working with this soil, I have most of my garden growing in this medium. Value for the money is pretty good. I use it for my vegetables. I have not tried to grow fruit in it yet, but as far as potting soil goes this stuff is supposed to be the best.

I've been using this fox farms happy frog soil for a while now and the results have been excellent. My indoor plants are thriving and I've never had issues with unwanted pests like with some other brands I've tried.
