    • vibration is too weak to feel
I wanted a pretty watch that would have an alarm with vibration and no sound. Although the watch is very pretty indeed, I could barely feel the vibration, and only when I was sitting quietly and looking at it. It makes very cute dance with its hands going up and down, but it barely vibrates. After missing two alarms in the row, I packed it up and returned it, since it simply does not work for me. I loved how they made the link adjust without any tools needed - three of the links attached by clasps, you unclasp them to adjust the length. For the battery, there is a coin slot to turn it and open the back of the watch, although I didn't try to open it. The app looked nice, and there is an adjustment for the vibration feature, and I set it to the high setting, and it didn't change anything. I loved how the watch looked, so sad I had to return it. I replaced it with an activity tracker that works well, but not nearly as good looking, sadly. ... show more

Update - 9/21/2020 - I am downgrading my review to 2 stars because the replacement watch I got was better than the first one regarding step accuracy, but after 35 days of having it (5 days too late) the battery shows less than 25% according to the app and therefore it stopped working altogether. The listing here says approx. 12 months for battery life - I was at 35 days. So sad. I kept the watch on the lowest vibration and the only thing I used the watch for was steps and time - no notifications, no stopwatch usage, nothing else. *** I'm rating this with 3 stars currently. I recieved my first watch July 8th and it was easy to set up. It was a few minutes fast by the end of the first day, but I finally realized I needed to calibrate it. Now I tested the steps function because that's why I bought it and it only counted about 65% of my steps- but I'd rather under count than over. On day 28 the watch was off by 10 minutes, when I went to calibrate it, it then became 3 hours and 20 minutes off. When I turned on the calibrate function it showed the time perfect but click ok and it was off. I barely exchanged in time because the next day was the last chance to return. Amazon sent me a replacement in 3 days and so far no issue. This one actually only short counts steps by about 20%. I'll update review if this watch fails or runs great for a while. ... show more

    • Attractive watch-Needs more contrast between hands & face
In the short time I wore this watch, I received several compliments on its appearance. I also found that because the watch face and hands are the same color, I needed a good source of light to tell time. So, it's not my first choice when I wear a watch, but it makes a reliable back up to the existing Fossil watch I've had for several years. Overall, I really like Fossil's collection of watches that track activity and can be customized to alert you to incoming calls & texts. ... show more

Easy to adjust band but links vary wide. I like my watch tight enough not to slide around my wrist. This watch either slides or is to tight with one less link. I do not have it connected to notify me of texts or who is calling. Update. Purchased in July and two months later the battery is to low to power watch. ... show more

I purchased this Bc I love all black, and matte black especially. There’s everything tomlove about this watch except one thing: the face of the top is very reflective. It could use some time of non glare coating Bc it does make it fairly difficult to read the time. The black crystals are awesome, fits perfect, syncs with my phone easily! Coolest watch!
