I picked the blue face because I wanted a good contrast between the hands the face of the watch. The feel, weight, and the look of the watch are all very nice. The design of watches is so subjective that I will not comment on it. All I can say is the images do a good job of depicting what this watch looks like. It seems to be keeping time very well. I do notice that it is gaining a second every few days. I believe it gained about 4-5 seconds in about a week. It is very quiet, but if you put the watch to your ear, you can hear it tick. The clasp and the release button work well. Overall, I am very happy with the watch. A couple of cons that do not affect the watch itself, but the experience of a new watch. This did not come with any instructions on how to set the watch or how to adjust the bands. Only the warranty and battery information. If you are not familiar with how to do these things or do not like looking up information on the internet, you will be disappointed. As for setting the band size, I’ve done it several times for multiple watches and so I even have a little tool to help so this was not a problem for me. Unlike other bands, you are able to pull/push the pin out in both directions as indicated by their little arrows. Others typically go in one direction. There is a little plastic tab that you need to remove from the dial for setting the watch. Set Date - Position 2 (between all the way in and all the way out) – Counter clockwise. This is the part I had to look up because I kept turning it clockwise and it wasn’t doing anything. Set Day and Time – Position 3 (all the way out) – Clockwise or counterclockwise to set day first and then time. Note that the PM/AM is determined/shown with the 24-hour marker. This is a beautiful watch. The build quality seems excellent with high quality components and construction. I love the look, though I’m going to have to learn to remove some links before I can wear it actively because the sizing on arrival is quite large. I was briefly frustrated figuring out how to adjust all the settings and what the dials mean because I’m ordinarily a smartwatch person, and I’m not familiar with all the potential analog features. The listing is vague about the dials, as is the Fossil description, and there were no instructions included. Fortunately, I was finally able to search instructions in Fossil Support using the product number found on the back of the watch. Here are the key things I learned. 1. Pull the knob halfway out to set the date (top mini dial). 2. Pull the knob all the way out to set the day and time. While doing this, pay attention to the hour dial (bottom mini dial) and the day (left mini dial) because these adjust with the time settings. Overall, this is an excellent watch. While the heft exudes quality, it’s heavier than I want to wear on a daily basis. It’s a beautiful option for special events, even if I don’t want to give up my smartwatch for it often. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I recently ordered this watch in the Brown/Green variation, and I’m really impressed! The build quality is fantastic, and it looks super sharp. It's definitely a head-turner! The green sunray dial gives it a rich, classy look, and the brown leather strap feels high-quality and comfortable right out of the box. It has that perfect balance between sporty and refined, so it works great for both casual and dressier occasions. It's something that can be worn every day and because of that alone, I believe it's a great value for the cost. The multifunction sub-dials are a nice touch, and the oversized design makes it easy to read while giving it a bold presence. It's the perfect size for a standard male wrist. The watch feels solid and well-made, with smooth quartz movement and a scratch-resistant face that I am hoping will hold up well over time. The only thing I noticed was a small red line on the back face plate, which made me wonder if it had been a return, but the watch looks brand new and functions perfectly, so it’s not something I’m concerned about. Overall, this Fossil watch exceeded my expectations in both style and quality. If you’re looking for a timepiece that stands out without being over the top, this is a great choice. This brown/green Fossil watch is gorgeous. It looks great on the arm. The person wearing it is 6'2" and larger boned and it fits perfectly. It comes in a nice packaging that makes it great for gift giving. We didn't see an instruction sheet though, so have to figure out how to advance the smaller dials. No issues with readability, very easy to tell the time on this watch, especially with the glow in the dark features. ... show more
