I wore this for a full week as my “daily” (work, errands, driving) and it has that simple, put-together look that doesn’t scream for attention. The dial is easy to read quickly, and the day/date windows are placed well so they don’t clutter the face. Setting it was straightforward once you realize the crown has distinct clicks. The bracelet feels smooth on the wrist and didn’t pinch hairs, but plan on removing links with a small tool or having a jeweler size it. Finish-wise, the case edges and bezel details look sharper in person than I expected at this price point. The only minor downside is glare at certain angles in bright light, so outdoors you sometimes tilt it to catch the dial. It feels sturdy, well constructed. Fits and pairs well with casual outfit. I have a gold-tone Fossil watch that always gets compliments. Even though this is for men, I got it because I prefer watches with a big face. Plus the polished stainless steel looks good on my skin tone. It was easy to set and over several days has remained accurate, so I'll assume there aren't any mechanical issues. The hand movements are smooth. The watch comes presented in a gift tin box and looks impressive upon opening. The watch itself weighs approx 4.5 oz, nice and solid. It looks true to the product photos. I'll have to get the bracelet band adjusted for my skinny lady wrist and the jeweler might give me a side-eye for wearing this hefty man watch, but I don't care. I like it. I'm not a huge watch aficionado and I do appreciate their beauty as jewelry. But I noticed that the Roman numeral IV shows as IIII. It's apparently by design. My other Fossil watch has standard numbers, so I didn't realize this is a common design feature on watches with Roman numerals. Ya learn something new every day. ... show more

You can never go wrong with a Fossil watch. They are always a quality timepiece with a unique look. My husband is a watch connoisseur-he loves them, so I try to get him an original one for special occasions like birthdays or Christmas. I loved the bold blue color of this one with both the gold and silver in the band. I was able to set the time and the day for him but not the numerical date as it did not come with instructions. I am sure it is on the internet, but I would have preferred a copy with it. It has been keeping accurate time. It has a pretty good weight to it, but not too heavy. I cannot tell if the band is adjustable or not. It comes in the iconic Fossil Tin and fits snuggly in it. Always a good watch to have. ... show more
