We have some string lights on our front porch. Every time I want to use them I have to stand on a stool to plug them in at the ceiling outlet. I saw these adapters with remote and decided to give them a try. I love them! They was very easy to install and sync up with the remote. So far they work perfectly. We travel frequently and needed a solution to cutting the power to the openers in our 2-car garage. The door opener controls didn't have the ability to completely cut the power. We installed these wireless controls and now we can easily cut the power to both garage doors with one switch. Problem solved!

I have two sets of these switches . One was working pretty well in my garage for some time and than stopped responding. I tried two different fresh batteries which didn't help. Turned out I can still control the switch sometimes if the remote is only 10 inches away. I decided to use the second switch I had still unopened. This switch also works the same way, only when the remote is really close to the switch itself. Not sure what is the reason. Was thinking if I can have high RF noise in my house but that seems unlikely, there is no sources around I can think of. I have similar switches in my house and these work OK. Update: One day later it works OK again. This should be related to some high frequency noise that apparently is present sometimes where I live, while the switch is suppressed by it. This happened so far twice. Update #2. While better noise rejection would solve the issue I described, it would also rise the price of the product. I'm not sure what is the source of the noise that coinsides in frequency with the one the switch is using, but I decided I like the product enough to not to rate it too low. Increasing the rate back to 5 stars.

I have two lamps on my credenza and my lazy BF hated having to switch each lamp on/off all the time, so I got this for him. It’s amazing! Just plugged it in, followed the easiest set up, and now I have one switch to press and VOILA! Both lamps turn on. I’ll definitely be purchasing more for around the house.

Nice device, super easy to setup. However, if the power goes off, it defaults to off position and stays there. I use it to turn a grow lamp on and off when entering the room, but when power goes off (e.g.outage, timer controlled power), it defaults to off so that when the power returns, my lamps do not come back on. This default off property may be a nice safety feature, but it means I can’t use it.
