It is getting harder and harder to find metal ammo boxes. Prices have shot up significantly. These are of excellent quality. They are new manufacture and the seals are pliable and not cracked. I have tried plastic boxes, but they don't form an air tight seal and are prone to deformation and breakage. This is a very well made box. Seal is good and hinges and latch very solid. One minor complaint is the label on the side is extremely sticky and a total pain to remove all the adhesive. Stupid to use stickers when paper and light tape would be much nicer for the customer.

Fortress Metal .50cal Ammo Can Pulled the trigger ; ) on this when it was on sale for about the same price as the smaller .30cal can. I'm using it to store RC car batteries in a fire resistant bag that fits inside the can nicely.
