Someone repeatedly throws out our utensils. We are always short on spoons! I have purchased this set twice and I am happy with the construction and simple look. The steak knives tend to rust if left in a drying rack, so I suggest hand drying them.

In our household of six adults, we go through silverware at an unbelievable rate. I finally decided that buying really nice stainless was a waste of money. I bought this set because we having trouble finding enough forks to even go around. I'd say this is just what you need if you have a similar problem -- people taking snacks to their rooms and then not bringing their dishes back! I can't give these much praise for anything in particular, other than that they are inexpensive. They are smaller than my more expensive sets and feel a little unsubstantial, but they work for getting the food from your plate to your mouth, wash up just fine, and don't bend. If you have a problem similar to mine, or want a set to take on picnics or to potlucks, these should do just fine. ... show more
