This wouldn't be good if you have a fleet of vehicles and you're trying to fill lots of tires. If you're trying to fill the tires up on one vehicle though this is an excellent device. It works well and is accurate. The cord is long enough to reach the rear tires on my Tacoma but I'm not sure how it would do on a full size pickup or larger. I think it would reach but you should check the cord length. I've used it mostly to get rid of the tire pressure warning lights that come on when the weather changes. It takes a couple of minutes to put 5psi in the tires. I have never filled a tire from flat to full although this device could do it. It might take a while though. If you have a slow leak and need to fill the tire up to get to a place where you can get it fixed, this device would be excellent. I always carry this in the car for emergencies and I think it would be great for that. ... show more

Worked great for us. Will have to treat it carefully when using due to the plastic lever that secures it to the tire stem. I can see where it could break after awhile if handled roughly. Did not try the light. We had to use an extension cord to reach our outdoor outlet as the cord is pretty short. Overall, so handy to have during our twice a year driving to different gas stations to find an air inflation machine that works, especially this summer with 105 degree averages!! ... show more

Bought 4new car tires but one always went down after having it checked walmart would not replace it even with warranty, so painfully had to pay for air constantly $2 or the public air machine weren't working my cousin told me she got a air pump from Amazon! The digital readout and the ability to set it to pump to a certain psi is great. Light weight. Case is fairly cheap plastic but if you don't abuse it it's fine. It does go slow, especially at higher psi (40). And you can't run it too long or it will overheat, gotta watch that and if you're doing more than a few minutes you have to give it down time to cool off before resuming. And the cord is a tad short -- in my pickup truck I can barely get from the power socket to the back wheel. ... show more

This was my third brand; the two previous inflators proved a waste of time. The first stopped working after two tires, the second didn't work at all. This Fortem has been wonderful. It inflated all four tires in less than ten minutes and stopped at the pre-set pressure.

I was skeptical that this would work but it really does. A nice feature is that you can set the desired pressure and the unit will automatically turn off when the tires are inflated to the indicated pressure.
