Nicely built compressor for the money. Everything works well and it's quiet. The only negative is the manual. It doesn't mention the 2nd hose connection, or the small plastic tube packed with the input filter.

The good: This compressor is very quiet. You can have a conversation while it is running. It is much more pleasant to work with than the older pancake compressors. It recharges quickly. The bad: Both pressure gauges slowly leak air on my compressor. It is bad enough that the compressor empties the tank within two days. My compressor arrived without the rubber carry handle pictured, and there's no good way to add a replacement handle. If Fornax improves their quality control and sources some better gauges, they will have an excellent product. As it is, it's okay for the price. ... show more

I purchased this product to do small jobs like air staple, brad nail and finish nail with the hopes it would be lighter in weight than my 6 gal and easier to go from place to place or easier to carry. This product while it appears to be built well FAILS in the weight catagory. It weights just as much as my 6 gal. As is just as bulky. My 6 gal is lighter and has a bigger motor. So if your looking so a compressor that’s versatile the unit is not the one. ... show more

This unit is great for small tools. Like my upholstery stapler. Will not run most air tools. It arrived in a cardboard box, which had been dropped. The frame of the compressor was benr out of shape. The unit works as it should, so I chose not to bother to return it.
