This is a really nice little oil free compressor! Like all compressors, it is a little loud, but it's the same as any other airless compressor I've ever had. It's great that it's CFM airflow capabilities are printed right on the top so you can make sure it's enough for your application. I am using it for various air nailers, from tiny brads and staples up to 2-1/2" framing nails. I tested it with everything so I know for sure it will be sufficient before I get on the jobsite. All of my air nailers operate in a range of 70 - 110PSI and I have found that more pressure just makes the tank empty faster, so I have the built in regulator set to 75PSI and it goes quite a bit longer between cycles, and I am having no problems driving in even the largest framing nails. It does take a few minutes to pressurize the tank initially, but it also does hold pressure overnight if you disconnect the hose. It has the good kind of hose disconnect on it, the kind where you don't need to pull the ring back, just push the fitting into it and it latches securely. This is a really great compressor for nailers, but I don't think it would keep up with high demand items like air tools or paint sprayers, but the CFG capabilities are clearly printed on top, so you can see for yourself if it will work or not. It says Max pressure is 110 PSI, but the cutoff switch is set at 100 PSI, which is fine for me since I'm setting the regulator to 75 PSI anyway. The drain valve is conveniently on the side of the tank where it's easy to reach, but it is NOT at the bottom of the tank so you will have to roll the unit over so the drain is on the bottom after opening it to make sure all the water gets out. Overall I'm really happy with this compressor. I'm glad it has a built in regulator, but it doesn't have a water separator so I'll get one to add on myself. It's nice and light and easy to carry and it works really well for air nailers, which is what I want it for.

I use this to top off my tires or after work clearing. it's small, light and tops off quick. it doesn't have much endurance, but it doesn't need it for my needs since I'm just doing 10-15 minute jobs with it.

FORNAX 3 Gallon Portable Air Compressor, Hot Dog shaped, Oil Free Not too much to say about this little guy except it’s built very robustly and works flawlessly. I own a much larger air compressor that isn’t portable, and this much smaller, “hot dog” air compressor is very convenient and ultra portable. I love that it’s oil free, and will require very little maintenance. The Product Details describe it as being “made for a quiet work environment,” but this is hyperbole, for it’s still pretty loud—as most air compressors are (but it’s not nearly as loud as my large air compressor, which is a big plus). Getting back to its portability, I love, love, love that it has a nice, strong, well-placed handle on top for carrying it around. The handle and its relatively light weight has made it a pleasure, for example, to air up all the tires on our two vehicles. Honestly, I just don’t know what made me wait so long to acquire such a compact and lightweight air compressor. It can handle 98% of the typical tasks I need it for, including using my pneumatic tools, such as my nailers. If you’re in need of an air compressor, you’ll be hard pressed to find one of such high quality in this price range. I highly recommend it.

This is a terrific, well made air compressor. Although it doesn’t come with any of its own hoses or nozzles the ones I had and tried there was no leakage. It’s very easy to use. Just turn it on and up she goes! Ready immediately for your air compressor needs. This is a great value for the money as well. I also the size. Although it can be a bit grumbly when on so it def has some noise attached to it when on (but what compressor doesn’t?) it’s big enough to handle professional jobs and tools, but it’s not so huge it’s inconvenient to move . I also love that it’s bright orange so if it happens to start to walk off a worksite it’s not only easy to see but since no one else has one bright orange they can’t deny it’s yours!

I ordered this compressor to power my airbrushes used in my personal workshop. First off, the tank and compressor are a nice size but still not miniature so it is easy to operate the controls and see the gauges (pictures 2) and switches. The tank comes with a nice drain-off valve (picture 3) for ensuring the tank is free of any moisture that might collect during use in colder or more humid climates. The tank came with a preinstalled quick release air valve so plugging in my air hose to power the airbrush was quick and easy. I was hoping this compresor would not be overly loud and I was not disappointed! The operating noise was minimal and the vibration during compressor run was minimal thanks to the 4 rubber isolator feet. I like this compressor and think it will provide a number of hours use powering my airbrush collection. I hope my review and pictures will help you decide if this is right for you. This little 3 gallon air compressor is small so it doesn’t take up a lot of space in a garage. The quality seems to be above average for this price range. The compressor is not loud, it fills the tank quickly to 120 psi. No leaks, everything works as expected. It is also light enough to be carried around to the job site. Runs on 110 volts so will plug in almost anywhere. This is an excellent little compressor.
