This worked wonders. This was one of three products I tried to fix the abrasive scratches I accidentally put on my car hood and this one had the best results by far. I repeatedly applied and rubbed in with a microfiber cloth until the scratches were hardly visible. I went to 3 different stores; Walmart, Target and Autozone and could not find this product. I have used it in the past on small scratches on the car and it worked perfectly. It worked perfectly again. It’s inexpensive and easy to use and not messy. If you’re looking for a scratch remover for scratches that aren’t deep, I would suggest trying this first before you buy one of the expensive kits.

I used it because it claimed to help with scratches. Well it doesn't. It did nothing for them and even tried it twice with no clear changes. They all looked the same as before. So they need to sell this as a cleaner or polish only.

Pretty amazing. As someone who parks on the streets of Brooklyn, my car suffered mightily from the wounds inflicted by speeding trucks and wide-load vehicles. But I couldn’t believe how quickly this product removed most of my unsightly surface scratches—usually before even buffing. No, it can get rid of deep scratches, vandals keying your car, or peeled paint. But it’s a great cosmetic—kind of like Botox for your car.

I have detailed my own vehicles as well as family vehicles for 30+ years. I really only use hand applied products for my detailing. I tried this product based on some external reviews and was disappointed. I was looking for a product that would removed microscatches or swirl marks visible is direct light. This actually made the test clear coated paint surface worse than when I started. I used my go-to old reliable products to correct the additional scratches this caused. My go-to products are Meguiar’s ScratchX 2.0 and the slightly less effective Turtle Wax Scratch & Swirl Remover. Use a good, soft, clean microfiber cloth for application and removal. Finish it up with a good couple of coats of Turtle Wax Hybrid Cermaic Spray Coating to protect. Depending on how bad the scratches are, you may have to apply the scratch remover 2-3 more times to improve it. I cannot speak to the end result if your scratches are deeper into the paint or down to the bare metal. I typically fix bare metal scratches with touch paint/clear coat first and address the nearby micro scratching/swirls after the touch-up paint has cured long enough. I believe this Scratch Out product is too abrasive for micro scratches/swirling. If unsure, always start with a small, more concealed area, if possible. Good luck!
