Well not having a buffer handy and also angry, I went here and found this product. It WORKS! It took me three applications and a little elbow grease but I am happy to say that the long white scratch on my charcoal car is almost (ALMOST) invisible! Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was so happy with the results! It worked really well. I didn't need a sponge only a microfiber cloth and I didn't need to scrub much. My car is back to look like the first day I brought it home!

I read a lot of reviews before buying this, but Scratch out really is the go-to product. Someone left a 7 foot scratch down to the metal on my shiny new truck. This made the scratch nearly invisible with maybe six minutes of easy work. Most of that six minutes was just letting the product dry to a haze before buffing it off with a cloth. Easy, cheap, and effective. Update: this product did work well at first, but the effect wears off quickly. After a few days or a single rainstorm the scratch reappears. This is like putting makeup on a scar. It does not fix the problem and does not last.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This scratch remover is worthless. I do have a couple scratches- one was deeper than the other. This product did not work on even the light scratches let alone the deeper one- it seems to be nothing more than thick water. Neither scratch was so deep that the fingernail test (run the fingernail over the scratch and you can feel the clear coat having been cut into) failed so it should have worked. I will try a more expensive product.
