The bed frame is not as sturdy as expected—the middle support legs are already bending outward. The color is darker than advertised, and the LED light strip doesn’t work properly; when set to blue, only a few bulbs light up. The drawers are also loose with no tracks, basically functioning like under-bed storage bins. Overall, it looks nice but the quality is disappointing.

Love the new bed frame

This twin bed frame is simple yet stylish, and very thoughtfully designed. I love the headboard! The USB outlets on the top are so handy, and the shelf itself is a nice size, not too big and not too small. I can stash my water bottle, Kindle, cell phone and more up there and not worry about them falling off onto my head ;) The LED strip light is also very handy - especially late at night when you don't want light up the entire bedroom - and the included wire organizing clips are a nice extra touch I didn't expect. The metal frame is very heavy and very sturdy. The powder coating(?) finish is flawless. All welded points look cleanly and appropriately welded. Once assembled, this bed frame is rock-solid; there's no bending, wiggling, or instability at all. The bed frame measures exactly as the listing states. It took me somewhat longer than I would have expected to assemble this - about 2 hours - but I did assemble it alone with no help. All the parts and tools needed are included and very well organized; they also included spare parts (love that). The assembly instructions are outstanding, although there is a typographical error on Page 6 (Step 6). It states "Use screw 1 to fix bed frame G between J and A". That's actually the exact same instruction as Page 5 (Step 5). Ignore that text on Page 6 and follow the assembly illustration on Page 6 instead, which shows using Screw 3 to attach I between G (the fold-out sides of the frame). When assembling, I also suggest that after you are done assembling the headboard (through Step 3) that you skip ahead to Steps 8 and 9 and attach the power strip and LED light strip, then go back to Step 4 and finish assembling. It's SO much easier to do this before you attach the headboard to the bed frame, especially if you have limited room to maneuver. Once assembled, my twin mattress fit perfectly on the frame. Sleeping on this bed frame is pretty sublime for me. My old bed frame is 55 years old, and my mattress was sagging in the middle even when I flipped it due to the frame and slats having bent/warped over the decades. I didn't realize just how much it was sagging until the first night I slept on this bed frame - I felt like I was sliding off at first! I was so used to my mattress sinking in the middle that it laying actually perfectly flat (like it should!) felt so weird and like it was sloping! I got used to this pretty quickly, and by my third night sleeping on it, I didn't notice it at all. Best part: I am not all stiff when I wake up anymore! I had no idea my mattress sinking like that was the cause of my morning stiffness; I just assumed it was me getting old! The fabric storage boxes are better than average, especially the wheels. I do kind of wish they were a wee tiny bit shorter so I could use them from the side of the bed instead of only the foot of the bed, but I also don't have a lot of room to maneuver near the foot of my bed (my bedroom is small) so being able to use them from the side would just be easier for me. Having said that, I did figure out that if I just lift the bed up a bit, I can slide them under the bed from the side. My only "complaint" is that it comes with only two mattress "anti-slide" clips, and they only attach on the side of the frame (not the foot of the frame). You really need at least four (two for each side), and having two that fit at the foot of the bed would be a very nice bonus. Overall, I'm super happy with this bed frame. It's well made, simply designed but attractive, has convenient shelf, USB outlets, LED strip lights and two nice fabric storage boxes. Needless to say, I definitely recommend this bed frame and for me, I find it a very good value.
