  • Nice well made wireless remote for my Nikon Z5II
Style: For Nikon
A better solution than the OEM Nikon solution and well made with convenient charging. This was very easy to setup and install (if you understand Nikon nomenclature). It is great value for money and functions exactly as needed. Very light and easy to store and is full compatible with my Nikon Z5II. Thoroughly recommended. ... show more

  • Surprised to like it more than the Nikon remote control
Style: For Nikon
I have the Nikon remote and I was hoping this would make a nice backup remote control. Turns out I'll be using this one as the primary. The Nikon will be relegated to second team status. This one seems easier to get paired, up and running when I start a new session with my camera. With the Nikon remote, I was never sure whether it was connected or not. Perhaps I should have been giving the Nikon remote a few more seconds to connect...possibly it was just a training or understanding issue on my part. Regardless, this unit solves the problem. It has a small screen that tells you when it's looking for something to connect to and when it's connected. It makes it much easier for me to use. I only wish I could trigger a series of shots using the trigger. For that, I suppose I'll need to use a body with the traditional 10 pin release. ... show more

  • Works with Canon R5 - read instructions carefully! Works with Canon R5 - read instructions carefully!
Style: For Canon
[Updated] No problem Pairing with my Canon R5 - takes just a couple of seconds. Once paired, you MUST switch the drive mode (single-shooting/continuous etc..) over to timer/remote. Either the 10 second or 2 second mode works. If you don’t do this last step then none of the buttons on the remote will work and it may seem defective at first. It works from about 40 feet no problem (across 2 rooms in my house) I haven’t tried it outside yet but I suspect it may reach a bit further. Note that the icon they use for remote is not the same as what is on the camera so you may not immediately recognize it. In the instructions, the icon is more generic, but on the Mirrorless and DSLR menus, you need to look for the “timer” icon - the remote icon is in the background. ... show more

  • Canon R10 with the BR-3 Bluetooth Remote
Style: For Canon
I found that the drive mode must be set for 2 seconds for the remote to work. The remote will still shoot correctly based on your selection of one shot or 2 second pause selection on the Mode button. Autofocus works as well. If you are in Movie mode on your camera the remote works as well. Bulb also works if you hold the trigger button. I think its a quirk for this camera. The other drive modes don't work with the remote. if you need burst mode, it appears you have to use the camera trigger button not the remote. I had a cheap hard-wired remote that worked regardless of the camera mode. I wonder if any other wireless remotes function like a hard-wired remote on this camera. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep this. BTW my camera firmware is 1.7.0. ... show more

  • Could not get it to work on a Nikon Z f.

  • Works on a Nikon Z5
Style: For Nikon
I was a little concerned that it might not work with my camera based upon other reviews on other similar products on Amazon. It took a few minutes to follow the setup directions but it works with my Nikon Z5. The function buttons only allow a couple of preset options, not a full custom setting. The zoom feature only invokes a digital enlargement in the eyepiece and/or the back of the screen. It does not actually control the lens. It only works on one camera, it would be nice if there was an option for a second camera, perhaps a switch on the side. Overall I still gave it 5 stars because it is the best option out there for the price. ... show more
