My son (who is a doctor, not a mechanic) installed these in my 2009 Lexus IS250. They work perfectly and were pretty easy to install. The extra plug we left it accessible but did not connect it to the fuse panel ( this makes the blinker work on the long light as well) The light still has a working blinker on the amber light. The round white light fogs up in humid conditions but there was a paper enclosed that said it will do this. There is not any condensation bill up, doesn’t seem like a problem. The manufacturer does recommend a professional install these lights but they were charging $500 and this is an older model car that i plan to fix up and pass down to my grand child so my son offered to do it. We followed a pretty detailed YouTube video, unplugging the battery etc. It’s been about 2 weeks now and they work fine and look great. Im giving the install 4 stars because you need a guy to help( I have acrylic nails). ... show more

Just received and installed these headlights on my 2006 IS to replace the milky scratched up originals... Installation was involved but not overly difficult. You have to remove the front fascia to get at the headlights, but the Lexus is intelligently assembled and is pretty easy to work on. The fascia is held on by 1 10mm bolt, 2 machine screws, 6 plastic retainer clips, and 10-12 coarse thread body screws, and fog light wiring clips. Well they're not all easy to get to but once you remove them all the fascia pops off and the headlights are easy to get to .. The new headlights are not quite as high quality as the OEM but they are still pretty nice. The whole assembly is lighter than the original. The plastic is glossier and thinner in general. The wires and connectors are thinner and lower quality than OEM. You have to transfer a plastic spacer from each old headlights to the new. There is no provision to transfer the OEM metal wiring harness bracket to the new lights so it wasn't used.. Once installed the headlights look very nice. The LEDs do give the car an 'updated' appearance and look really cool when they're on. The overall light output seems to be better than the old milky headlights of course but I have to get in and properly "aim" the new headlights since now they are pointing down too much. Look great, installed today. Did it myself and got confused since there are two plug-ins when there is only one port on the car. I could not figure out how to make only the LED strips come on by themselves, which is very disappointing as that is what i bought them for.

I wrote a review a year ago but for some reason it isn’t posted but I have to come back and write another one just because of how I’m being reminded of how bad the lights are in the dark fall/winter nights. These light are so bad you can see the point that it reaches 10 feet in the ground right in front of you. Driving through streets with no street lights you will need to turn your highbeams on not only that but you are instantly blinded by any cars coming in your direction because your light are so weak that it doesn’t help block off the light from the cars coming towards you and doesn’t help illuminate the road in front of you enough to be able to see it when you are blinded. Like I said I’ve had these for over a year now and every winter I just want to come back and write a review and inform people not to waste your money on these but to actually spend an extra $200 and go for the lights that everybody else has that are $550. Yes when you first get them they are clean they are nice you are excited but after a few nighttime drives you start to face all the struggles because of how weak they are and after some time of constantly having to face these situations you just come to the point where you realize you should’ve just spent more money on the obvious better headlights. Spend the extra $200 TRUST ME!! (Coming from someone who is always praying somebody rides my arse at night so their lights can help me see the road better) Update 12/12/23 My passenger turn signal has given out about six months ago and passenger light only turns on once in a blue moon. Just last week my driver side turn signal has also given out. I am currently driving with no turn signals and only my driver side headlight ... show more

I think my car might have auto leveling so that was my mistake. These had an extra plug that my car did not have (2011) BUT with that being said, the seller was kind enough to send me a shipping label and gave me a refund. The headlights themself were nice, a little lighter than the original, but fit well. They looked nice and I was disappointed that these didn’t work out for me. The seller was great. This was a great buy. I upgraded my is350 headlights years ago. Today I upgraded my.wife’s 2010 IS250. It looks great and she can't stop looking at it. Installation was super easy. Be aware the Lexus IS has lots of bolts to remove. You must remove the whole front bumper to install it easy just takes time. ... show more
