Without a volume knob changing the volume was really annoying. The temperature wasn’t even comprehensible; just arbitrary numbers. I think it went from like 400-675 or something wild like that. Not Fahrenheit or Celsius. When you turn the car off and get out the music doesn’t stop for like 10 seconds, so if you don’t pause it as you’re going out then your music will just be playing in your locked car for a surprisingly long time. Takes a fairly long time to connect to CarPlay screen is really low resolution None of the settings actually do anything You’re not actually going to use YouTube or Netflix because you would have to connect to WiFi at home and download all the stuff before leaving. Or you could connect the truck to your hotspot and blow through all your hotspot data Installation kinda sucks, but you’ll figure it out. I had to put it in and take it out a few times and once you know what’s going on it really does make a lot of sense and goes really fast. Installation tips: sit on the center console, don’t try to do it from the driver seat. You can, it’s just difficult. Also, press the brake and move the shifter to the back; it gives you a lot more room to work. But biggest tip is just don’t install it. It’s trash ... show more

Installation was plug and play. I couldn’t get the audio to work and I contacted customer service via email. They responded quickly and the problem was solved. The radio looks great and fits seamlessly in, everything connected easily to Bluetooth. CarPlay worked amazing. If you’re having audio issues (no sound) try putting the original radio back in and turning the volume all the way up, then reinstall the new radio. Problem was solved easily. ... show more

    • Updated: crap of a radio, sort of.
What a piece of crap!! I'm so angry with this radio!! I'm also screwed!! I got this radio as a Christmas gift for my husband and after three months it craps out!! The app that runs the phone link stopped working. It won't run his iPhone or my son's android phone any longer. The app called Z-link we believe is corrupted. We've done all resets and reboots that the manual instructs plus any information we can find on the internet, but it will not link to any phone and there is no way to update or install a new apk file for the program. And because the radio is three months old, I can no longer return or exchange it for a new one. I spent $500 dollars on the radio and $300 on installation! My husband has a dead radio. The Bluetooth connects but all he can do now is answer phone calls. His music no longer plays and the apps he used no longer connect. I've reached out to the company through their email, but I've heard nothing back. We're now stuck with an $800 dollar paper weight in my husband's truck. Update: Quick update. The radio is working fine now. My husband was able to find the password to the core radio settings on the last page of the radio manual. From there he was able to find the system reset settings and rebooted the radio to the factory settings. Now everything is work fine. Also, the company emailed us back and was eager to solve the problem. So, I've changed my rating for 1 star to 4. Finding the password and the fact that the company wanted to fix the problem changed our minds. There are some things about the radio that my husband wishes were better, like a better screen resolution, but overall, until the radio malfunction, he has enjoyed this radio. ... show more

Overly complicated. No directions unless you’re buying all new hardware to install like subwoofers and amps and forward facing cameras. Customer service is hard to get ahold of. After you take everything from the oem and switch it over, they provide a thousand wires to obtain power to the system, and attach all your new hardware and as expected items all a mess with no instructions or wiring diagram. Although they do provide one diagram. There is a picture with one of the wires I received that’s incomplete and missing the only connection on the harness that fits anything in my truck ... show more
