This works for so many food items. You can wash it and set to dry to reuse. I wrap my food items in wax paper or parchment paper (cheeses, for example) and that way all I have to do is rinse with soapy water and set it to dry to reuse. Love this! you can even store your avocado and apples with minimal if any oxidation. I do have to occasionally re-seal, but that is not an issue at all, it is very fast. ... show more

I have been using these for years. There are washable several times. They keep food fresh many times longer. A necessity for cheese and meats. Even lettuce lasts for over a week; keeping perfectly crunchy and no rust color. Works great in the freezer also. You can keep cheese mold free for months (just remove all the air each time you reseal it).
