You cannot go wrong with a YETI. Its purpose: durability, style, maintaining temperature. If you like hot coffee, a YETI will keep it hot in cold environments. If you like cold, iced beverages, a YETI will keep that ice frozen for a long time so you can enjoy a nice cold sip (or chug) on a hot summer day. Note: Avoid putting liquor in your YETI. I made a few smoky margaritas in mine over the summer. It was the same YETI I take to work with me. Well, I was sipping away and had to check to make sure I didn’t have mezcal in the cup. They tend to retain the fragrance and a very subtle taste of mezcal. I haven’t had used it for any other type of liquor so I can’t attest to the broad spectrum of spirits. I got 6 of these to replace some “hand wash only” camping mugs. These Yeti mugs are the first quality product I’ve found that is entirely dishwasher safe. I how low maintenance these are and how well they hold heat with the lids on. This is now my preferred mug at home, and I’m buying a couple more so I can use one each day. The heat retention is good enough that I can get rid of my electric smart mug (which I mostly love, but it’s so hard to keep clean). Only two minor downsides to the Yeti mugs: (1) They aren’t stackable with the lids on. The mugs stack so nicely, but the lids must be handled separately and the lids aren’t really stackable themselves. (2) They hold heat for maybe 2 hrs with lid maybe 30 min without lid (decent, but not great) ... show more

I ordered this Yeti mug for a Christmas gift as it was on their wish list. They have several of these stackable Yeti mugs already and love them. Sturdy, heavy-duty, and hold a lot of liquid (and keep it hot). The magnetic tab works very well and doesn't come off until you pry it off. Dishwasher safe. The only thing with the stackable option is you have to take off the lid to stack them, so you'll need to store the lid separately, which isn't a a biggie but it is a tiny bit of a pain to have to find a place to store the lid if you do stack them. I have a Gen 1 Chartreuse colored version of this which has been through some adventures so the coating is starting to fade and chip off. So I bought this Gen 2 version in Navy as my daily tea mug at home. It’s gorgeous, the texture of the coating and the color really set it off. The stacking design introduced with Gen 2 is a nice feature if you are packing these up to go somewhere and you have a bunch of them but I am not using that. I do think they have upgraded the coating process though, it really is a work of art. Oh and it keeps my tea hotter for longer. Or seems like it does. Yeti say this is dishwasher proof but I don’t trust that, my chartreuse Rambler mug has definitely faded over the years and there are faded areas on the coating of my Navy 20oz Rambler so I now hand wash all my Yeti Rambler products. ... show more

Pros: This is so good at keeping drinks hot! We have also placed this cup in a stroller and it has tipped multiple times without spilling. The easy to clean features are very helpful and my husband and I enjoy using it. The color is beautiful and it’s very sturdy. Cons: It’s too big to fit in our cup holder. I knew it would be because I measured it, but it is an inconvenience. The handle is hard to hold because it seems small for how heavy the cup gets. I would have bought the smaller one but my husband says it fits a perfect amount of coffee in it. The bigger size isn’t a deal breaker since it works well and doesn’t spill but I personally would have gotten a less clunky one. ... show more

This keeps my coffee warm for two and half to three hours. This is what I wanted so I am happy with it. It fits my coffee maker. It does not fit car cup holders. I have another Yeti that I use when traveling that fits the cup holders.
