I like making beef jerky and this small unit does a great job. I marinate the meat then pat dry and add spices before putting it in. I put the setting on high and let it go for 6-7 hours and the jerky turns out great ! I haven’t tried it to dry fruits yet but I’m sure it will do fine. The shelves are easy to clean in the dishwasher or in the sink and it is very quiet. ... show more

There is a reason that this dehydrator ri is inexpensive, it's half the size of an adult dehydrator. It looks like a toy my daughter would have in her Barbie kitchen. If you live in a box or you have just a foot of counter space, this is for you. But if you want to dehydrate more than one banana or 6 strawberries... Get a full size one! ... show more
