We've tested the fabric for over 100 hours, with a color fastness rating of Grade 4.5 (on a scale of 1 to 5, where 5 is the best). In comparison, 13oz Vinyl has a rating of only 3.5

We got this to replace our original 17' Dometic awning fabric which was deteriorating at only four years and had a horrible smell due to the vinyl. This was very easy to install compared to the vinyl counterparts, and sheds rain like water off a duck's back. I also like the fact that it is slightly opaque so it is not completely dark under the awning.

Received my 13’ canopy today. Super easy to install. Took me about an hour to remove old canopy and install new one. Lightweight could have installed myself, however a helper makes the install a breeze. Everything works as it should and looks good. Much better than the vinyl canopy that I replaced. For the price I would not hesitate to buy again. I watched a video so I didn’t use instructions. Can’t rate durability as I just installed it. Should be fine though.

It’s light material and stains easy. I will not buy again. The vinyl at lest cleans up. Not sure how long it will last the material seems thin to me. But it does repel light rain. Heavy or long rains will start leaking through.

The media could not be loaded. It wasn’t hard to put on, but it’s not one solid piece of fabric. They sewed it together in the middle and the first time we camped it leaked right down the middle, getting all our stuff wet. It is made out of decent material. So it’s a bummer they couldn’t make it solid. After a review the company reached out and fixed this issue! They sent a whole other unit free of charge! I appreciate them helping us new-campers!
