I didn't want a super soft mattress Incase she jumps or acts crazy on it. I wanted this thing to last a bit. But I'm afraid it's too firm. The media could not be loaded. Went with 8inch twin mattress. Came rolled in tight plastic and boxed. Unrolled and let it air out in unfinished basement for 2 days. No immediate smell and it reshaped evenly and perfectly. Bought for 8 year old who loves it and wants to hang out on bed all the time. Sleeps perfectly at night. Firm enough to sit directly on metal slates on bedframe without box spring, but soft enough to provide even support. Dense enough a heavy adult could sleep on as well without hitting bottom. I was uncertain at first due to other comments, but 100% happy with purchase. Actually considering buying one myself when I need to replace my own mattress. Not made with natural latex which is hard to find with mattresses. Standard twin sheets fit easily on it. Great value and quick delivery. 10/10. Definitely recommend. ... show more
