Very nice, but wine opener wobbles when placed in the dock. Even when it's charging. A design flaw for sure. I have it sitting out of the way so not a big deal. Other than that I love it.

This electric wine opener replaced an elaborate mechanical one I have been using for a decade or more that lost a tiny screw and became useless. The Foneta Electric Wine Opener worked right out of the box; there was no need to charge it. So far, I've opened 3 bottle of wine with it (we drink a bottle or so a week). And I wonder why I didn't buy one years ago. It is far easier than a mechanical corkscrew, which sometimes requires extra muscle or damages the cork so it doesn't come out. I just did not know what to expect, my wife likes wine but with our aging wrists, it was not always easy to remove the cork. Finally, I found this unit it worked beautifully the first time, every time! so far it has functioned flawlessly. I can't speak of other brands and types but this one here works. It really struggled to remove a cork. Make sure you cut the foil cap before using.
