I was hesitant to order coffee from Amazon at first. Exposure to weather elements can change the flavor of coffee and no telling how long it has been sitting on the shelf and what it has been exposed to, but I bought coffee from Amazon! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and packaging! I just started drinking coffee two months ago and have ventured out to try several flavors. This is by far my favorite! I will even let it cool off and pour it over ice and add milk. Its delicious! I had seen others reheat their coffee and I tried it with a different brand and it was gross, BUT I tried it with this purchase and it was delicious. This is my go-to coffee. I prefer a dark roast so you know :) I like the plastic container it comes in too. I use them to put my composted material in and for storage. When I'm buying a commercial coffee at a reasonable price point this is my go-to choice! I keep this Folgers "House Blend" flavor on Subscribe and Save for my office and it's a universally liked choice. It's full-bodied enough for black coffee drinkers, but not bitter at all, so those who prefer a lighter roast are happier with it too. It has a fruity brightness that I very much appreciate and light nutty notes that balance the flavor. For reference, I am someone who very much likes both dark and light coffee roasts, and regularly buys different varieties of higher end beans. I like it cuz it says it takes 2 days to deliver it and I want to get in a day sometimes and the price is great it's sealed it's fresh I recommend you open your box so outside the real break it down throw it away wash your hands and hand sanitizer or his soap bring in your package wipe it down with some non-toxic cleaner like for real professional strength non-toxic girls just to wipe the outer side off especially since we're dealing with Kobe but and then and you don't need to rinse the parole off because it's non-toxic it's the best product out there that's the only thing I use to clean my kitchen or touch food services but yeah the price you can't pass it up it's cheaper than the grocery store and you don't have to go anywhere to buy it just go online and order it stay safe in my house there right now during this pandemic surge again from Angela and family ... show more

Background and reference: I'm able to enjoy a cup of folgers black silk or breakfast blend as well as espresso, starbucks, mild to very dark roasts...etc. I have no idea where this coffee came from or the roast on it, but it does NOT taste good at all. I tried drip, french press, even a pour over thinking/hoping it was getting the weird aftertaste from sitting on the grounds too long. Nope. The flavor is very stale, sharp, and acidic. Even using cream, sweetener, or flavoring agents like syrups or my wife's flavored creamers did nothing to hide or take the edge off the taste. Tried giving it to my in-laws who are maxwell house/folgers "whatever you got" diner-style coffee drinkers and they threw out the 1st pot they brewed. Something is definitely off or wrong here. Now what to do with the 5-1/2 tubs of this stuff we have left 🤦♂️ ... show more

I've been drinking hot black coffee for 50 years. Its hard to find a good home drip coffee, which we all know can not compete with coffee shop brewed coffee. For me, the Folgers house blend is as close as I can get to the coffee shop brewed coffee. As to the price, at 7 dollars for the 1 lb 8.2 o container is a bargain. But some of the reviews will complain on this price but "they" are willing to spend 3.5 to 8 dollars or more for some of those local coffee shops cup of coffee. Get real people. Make your own coffee and find a blend that makes your day. Then, you will have a great day. ... show more

I LOVE coffee & can finish a 8-12 cup pot a day but it has to be a robust/bold coffee. Before I was laid off we would grind fresh beans. Then went to a pre-ground French Roast (big name grocery store brand) which is very good but, when COVID hit, I stopped making the extra trip just for the coffee. Found the Folgers Country Roast - Medium Dark - in a closer store & it has become our new favorite. Makes a great cup of coffee with or without using the 'bold' button on our coffee maker (slower drip). On the last one & decided to shop Amazon this time - 6 should last me for a little while & the price I purchase at made it a very good deal. ... show more

I was very pleased and surprised I usually by another brand but it was a good choice and the price could not be beat. I just went to the supermarket and it was $1.50 more than I paid.

This is one of those coffee jars I bought which I never got to finish it. It has stayed on my shelf for many months and I rarely touched it. It does not taste good at all. To improve its taste, what I tried, was that I ground them further. The more fine the ground, the taste gets improved better. It's strange that I got a bad taste on this Folgers coffee because I did try this brand at my office before. I liked it, which was the reason I decided to buy this 24.2 oz for home usage.
