I'm a coffee drinker, I wake up no matter if its morning, noon or early evening I'll go fix me a cup of coffee I normally buy folgers classic medium roast ground coffee, but in this situation I was out of coffee and needed same day delivery so I saw this folgers brand available I took notice that its rating chart was on more the darker roasted side thinking it might be to strong for my liking..? Here's the thing; a lot of people rag on Folgers and it's easy to see why. It's cheap, and it's everywhere. So for the bearded hippy monsters out there, it's an easy target for a cheap sense of superiority. But you really have to ask the question; why is it everywhere? Because it's cheap, does the trick and it's actually pretty damn tasty. Now I've tried all the different roasts that Folgers has done since I started drinking coffee at the ripe age of 13... (long story but it involves surfing super early in the morning) and I have to say that this Breakfast Blend is my absolute favorite. It's smooth, packed with flavor, just the right amount of bitter and richness and best of all, it's a light roast so it's got heaps of caffeine. (If you didn't know, light roasts have more caffeine than darker roasts, and if you did know... you rock :) Honestly it's pretty much all I buy anymore. ... show more

I’ve become a bit of a coffee snob since I first got my own apartment. I used a French press and ground my own beans when I had the time. But life happens, so I needed to make it easier for myself and thought I would have to sacrifice flavor and richness for convenience. I tried a couple brands, but now I have Folgers morning blend, simply smooth, and decaf at home and at the office. It’s low on acidity, strong on flavor, and very smooth. I've been a Simply Smooth drinker for years but due to it's shortage and outrageous pricing I decided to try the Breakfast Blend and found it to be a decent substitute.

    • The best part of waking up!
My mother drank Folgers and so I drink Folgers. I’ve had other brands when I’ve been to other peoples houses or in restaurants or coffee shops but I always buy Folgers at the end of the day because it’s just what you’re supposed to do. It really is the best part of waking up!

I purchased this because I need a coffee that is not as strong but still has flavor. I have tried other breakfast blends and have usually not liked these types. However, this is great! So great that I will be continuing to purchase this whether online or in store.
