This folding sofa bed sets up in about 24 hours, even though the instructions says to give it 48 hours, it wasn't getting any fluffier after a day. I really like the material, a corduroy fabric that feels very soft and comfortable. I love the versatility. My little one chills on it all day and if her cousins sleep over, we can just lay it out on the floor as a mattress. A very comfortable mattress. As a chair, it's very soft and plush. I'm 200 lbs and when I sit in it, it sinks too much to be comfortable for me. The back support it provides does nothing. It's only held up by another pillow so it doesn't provide any support at all. No one in my house could lean back on it without falling back. Also the pillow that holds the back support up is held by a clip on each side. For some reason, the clip is constantly falling out of the straps, kind of a pain to use. Overall we like it but only because the kids use it a lot and they think it's very comfortable to lay and sit on. A side note: instructions mentioned a possible odor but ours had a very light scent that dissipated very quickly, it was gone before it completely puffed up. ... show more

This is somewhat of a “bean bag” furnishing. It has very little density and lays low to the ground while molding around you when you sit on it. If you find bean bags comfortable than this is for you. It came in a rolled up plastic sheeting that was suppose to expand completely after 48 hours although, even after 72 hours it made little difference as to how much it expanded. According to the website the base measures 17.7 inches high but mine expanded to only 14 inches. It is also extremely soft and flimsy and won’t support you in a seated position (like a sofa) unless you have it against a wall. The backing is held together by two straps similar to the ones used on a back pack. Each strap clicks on each side to hold a small pillow in place and that’s what’s use to balance the backing. The larger pillow seen in the photo is not attached to the sofa. I’m going to have to build a platform to sit on this sofa because it’s extremely low to the floor, even for my sons that are in their 20’s. I digress, if it’s a bean bag sofa type of bed that you’re looking for, then this may work for you. For others wanting a sturdy, inexpensive sofa/bed, look elsewhere. ... show more

My kids love this & are always fighting over who gets it. It's big enough for my 14yo who's around 5'7" 140lbs. The only thing I'd prefer to be different is that all the pieces were connected. We had another one that was similar previously. (But much smaller!) And it was just a trifold, all connected as one. This one is a bifold, with the back rolled pillow connecting with a strap & the lack rectangular piece propping against that. This means sometimes my daughter who cant sit still and dismantles everything sometimes has the sepearted pieces scattered across the room. But I cant take stars off for that, because most probably dont have tazmanian devils running through their living rooms, & It is MUCH more comfortable & supportive than the other, though. The pieces that come off do make good support for couch pillows too when no one is using it as a chair or lounger. ... show more
