At first I wasn't sure about this saw but it worked perfectly! Being 71 years old, it's difficult to do most thing anymore but I cut through a 3" branch less than a minute. It cuts smooth and quick, the branch did come down on my head. I highly recommend this saw for anyone that needs to cut dry wood. It folds and locks into place securely for use and is secure when folded. Being that it has an 11" blade, it can cut through bigger logs than I had. Worked great until it broke. It was a great saw but the blade snapped clean while cutting a log off a trail. Some of it was my fault, the blade kept getting bound up in the log and was flexing pretty bad. I didn't expect it to snap like that though. Great light duty saw. I used it a lot in my year I had it. Lightweight, sharp, easily cuts through wood. I do recommend for light duty applications. If you use it more than a few times a year though, maybe go with a better saw. ... show more

This is a very nice folding saw for use in the garden. I use it to chop down hosta and ornamental grasses in the fall. The folding handle makes it easy to store. It’s lightweight and easy to use. A very functional product, but be careful because those blades are very sharp. The blade locks in place with a small lever, which increases safety during use. I believe these are sold in multiple sizes and quite frankly I would’ve ordered the smaller one if I was buying it again. Nice value here for a quality product. ... show more

    • Cuts wood - don't expect a too much other than that.

Works as it should. Blade cuts quickly and smoothly. The hinge seems a bit wonky and unstable where the blade folds into the handle. The blade could have been little more stiff as it will bend easily and when you go to fold it into the handle you have be real careful as it can miss the slot in the handle and catch your fingers. Use gloves! I have another brand of the same size, and it is a much more stable saw and has a better feel to it. The value / cost was acceptable. ... show more
