The bike feels sturdy, the folding design is convenient, and The Twist Throttle works smoothly. The fenders do a great job keeping water and dirt off my clothes when riding on wet roads. It has 5 levels speed, the first speed is like fast walking and the fifth speed up to around 20mph; really feel the power on level 5. Definitely 5 out of 5 Stars! “Great E-bike for riding around town and at the beach.” I absolutely LOVE this electric bike! Living near the beach, riding around town and along the shore has been awesome. The Geleisen e-bike is very stable, and its folding design makes it easy to store and carry in the back of my SUV. Riding this e-bike gives me a total feeling of freedom with plenty of power for both trails and city traffic. I use this e-bike for my daily trip into town, as well as weekend rides along the local beach, and it performs equally well in both settings. The bike design features an aviation aluminum frame, which means it’s lightweight yet sturdy, making it easier to carry and ride without sacrificing strength. The alloy steel handlebars and solid cargo rack add to its durability, and the 20” by 3.0” wide tires help prevent slipping on sand, so beach rides are a regular part of my week! Safety was one of the key reasons I purchased this e-bike. The dual disc brakes respond quickly, giving me confidence even when riding downhill, and the bright headlight and reflectors make night rides much safer. The LCD display is simple to read, and shifting between the 6 speeds is smooth It’s clear to me this bike is built with both durability and user safety in mind. Lucky I didn't get burned. I thought "what a great deal an ebike for less than $500 and it folds so I can fit it into my car". It might have been a great ebike had it been built to fold. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FOLD. folding this bike caused the wires to disconnect. When unfolding, the exposed wires reconnected sending a large spark out of the bike. It could have been very dangerous. The bike then shorted out rending the bike useless. This happened after my second ride. The first two rides were great. As others mentioned you really have to tighten and then retighten the handle bars but that's manageable. The fat tires make it a smooth ride. The acceleration is great. The cargo rack is super steady. If you dont need to fold the bike for use this may be a great deal. I needed a bike that's folds. ... show more

I’ve been riding the electrics bike for a few weeks now and it’s been great so far. The folding design makes it really easy to store in my apartment, and the steel cargo rack is solid — I’ve used it to carry groceries with no problem. The motor gives plenty of boost for city rides, and I usually stick to pedal-assist which feels natural and extends the battery life. The package arrived a few days earlier than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. It was well-packed and included all the necessary tools. Assembly was straightforward overall, though the poorly written instructions made it a bit more challenging, several (minor) steps were missing. Still, it wasn’t too tricky, and most people could probably figure it out just by looking at the parts. That aside, the bike itself is fantastic. I love its appearance and lightweight design, which makes folding and unfolding easy, and it fits into my minivan trunk without any problem. The folding lock system is simple to use and feels sturdy. The ride is smooth, especially comfortable for someone of average build like me. If you’re over six feet tall, you might want to consider a larger model, but otherwise it’s comfortable and easy to maneuver. The speed can reach close to 20 mph, which is more than enough for my needs. I managed just over 20 miles on a single charge, which is likely limited by the lightweight design, understandable for this type of bike. After a lot of research and reading many reviews, I decided to buy this bike and I’m very happy with the purchase. It is definitely value for money! The battery has plenty of power, and the bike rides very smoothly and comfortably. I also love that it comes with a gear system, which makes riding even better. I use it mostly for fun rides in parks and around the neighborhood, but it is also good enough for everyday commuting. The 20" tire size is perfect for a 5'8" adult — very comfortable and easy to handle. Another big advantage is the folding feature. The bike easily fits in my SUV and still leaves enough space for another bike as well, which is very convenient for travel. I also like the rear rack space, which is perfect for adding a basket or carrying items. It has a sleek and well-finished design, and it arrived much faster than expected. Poorly designed. Where the wire goes into the motor, there’s a cutout. Probably to keep the wires/cable from twisting. But the axle has basically cut into the wires and now the motor won’t work. This probably happened because of the folding feature. They won’t cover under the warranty because they said it looked as if it suffered impact, which did not happen, unless you count the folding of the bike. ... show more
