*UPDATE* So far so good! Hit 120 miles yesterday with no major issues. Calibrate your brakes when you first start and expect some whistling as they wear in. The seat has a built in rear facing light which runs on its own battery..which I missed in the Manuel...confused the heck out of me when I accidently turned it on. I get about 35 miles per charge at 240lb at setting 2 pedal assist... Wish it were better. Can't shut the front light off for day riding also..that's a bit odd.. I keep it unplugged. The battery removal process is also super awkward. Other then that, very happy. Would recommend!

Just look at it, it is a great looking bike. It has bigger battery than average. When you go with a group, others have to worry about battery not you. :-) I asked a question from support Friday evening expecting answer Monday. They answered the same evening. Let say I am on a trail where the sign says 15 mph max. I just set it to speed one or two. Yet in speed five I did 37 mph without pedaling. ;-)

The media could not be loaded. I brag this bike up to all my friends and tell everyone that's interested in one too get this bike! I get so many compliments when I'm out riding it around. Everyone seems to love it. It's very fast and the battery lasts a long time. I got two of them now and they both look great! I'm thinking about buying another one even haha! Ps that video is in the very first speed level. It goes up to 5 and that seems a little too fast for most riding. I enjoy level 3 with pedal assisting for a great speed and long battery life! PROs: * Power and speed; regularly get 28mph but have hit 32mph. * Brakes are solid. * Dual-suspension makes a pretty smooth ride. * Love the unique design; ppl sometimes shout compliments when I ride by. * The packing was done with incredible care; every single component was well-protected. * The User Manual is thorough and well done, assembly was a breeze. * Customer support via email has been prompt and helpful with my questions, though I hate waiting 12 hours for a reply; but given all circumstances they're doing a very good job of it. CONs: * PAS 1-5 is too easy. I tweaked the gears to get a little more resistance and will keep working on it. * Conversely, 0 PAS mode is almost useless - it barely moves, though it could be my 60yo legs; Anyone with this model actually enjoy riding on leg-power only? * Foldability is awkward enough that I gave up the idea of putting it into my RV and installed a heavy-duty bike rack. * Charging takes a long time. * Once the battery meter hits one bar, you immediately feel the power drop significantly. Overall I'm having great fun with it and use it for commuting to work every day.

The bike is very cool looking. It basically works well and has good power and speed. If you like to go full throttle and forget the pedals, this is a good bike for that. It is a very good folding bike for large, heavy people. It is structurally well made and sturdy. I have not had issues with the folding/locking (yet) as others have reported. It definitely lacks a positive locking mechanism but probably would not fold up while riding due to the dynamics of the two wheels (I hope). It is heavy, but this is a beefy fast bike with big wheels, battery, motor and tires. It has to be heavy. The issues I see are mostly with the controller and the user manual. The user manual does not describe well what the settings actually do. Some of the settings do nothing. You can change them, but there is no difference noticeable. Some of the settings do not work at all, like the clock, delay settings and a few others. Kinda aggravating. Typical Chinese language confusion and lack of understanding of intricate details. The main thing I do not like is that the pedal assist operates like an on/off switch. As soon as you touch the pedals, the motor immediately kicks in to the maximum programmed power setting for the PAS level that is selected. If your power setting is set high, you better hang on when you touch the pedals. Many ebikes have a delay or gradual engagement of the motor when you start to pedal and that offers a much more enjoyable riding experience if you like to pedal. If you are just looking for an electric bike and don't want to pedal much, this would not be an issue. If you enjoy pedaling, this is annoying. The other issue is that the throttle level and pedal assist are linked for each speed setting. In other words, if you lower the pedal assist for any given speed setting, the max throttle is also limited to that exact setting. So, when you are pedaling and want to add some throttle to go up hill, you cannot. You have to switch to a higher speed setting to get more throttle. Again, if you like to pedal, this is very annoying. If you ride in traffic or around pedestrians this can be very dangerous. You better be sure to shut off the pedal assist or be careful not to touch the pedals or you may run somebody down if you touch the pedals. Also if waiting at a traffic light, again, don't rotate those pedals! You may end up lurching right into oncoming traffic. Again, potentially very dangerous. The other anomaly is that sometimes the throttle just stops working. It seems to come back on its own, but there is no pattern or cause I can understand. It just seems to have a mind of its own. The other thing I notice is that the pedal assist level sometimes changes levels on its own. Again, this can be very dangerous. Customer service is bad/nonexistent/unresponsive. This is a concern. If the bike has issues you will likely be on your own! I have heard many complain that the chain falls off alot. I have not yet ridden on bumps. A dual chain gauge crank would fix that, but this does not have one. Not sure is a retro crank set with dual chain guard is available anywhere for this bike. All of the anomalies make me somewhat concerned, since I do noy trust what this controller might do next and this bike is a beast. Full uncontrollable throttle could kill you and/or others. Has not happened (yet). To summarize, if you like to use throttle, hate to pedal, want to go fast and you are a large person, this may be a great folding bike for you. If you enjoy pedaling when you ride, you will find this bike annoying compared to many other ebikes. I think many of the quirks I have witnessed on the first day could be very dangerous, even for experienced riders. Be advised you will get poor/no customer service so be prepared to deal with issues on your own. Update: I have ridden this 1000 miles over the summer. I ride it 5 days a week. Had no issues with charging or operation. The chain has fallen off about 3 times when I hit some big bumps. It was easy to put the chain back on. The fold/locking hand screw came loose once, but the bike tends to stay straight even when this is loose. I tightened it and it has stayed tight now for 30 days. The controller has been consistent and reliable. The twist throttle sometimes does not initiate, and I do not understand why. I just give it multiple twists and it eventually starts working again. The led tail light sometimes lights on its own, but the battery has lasted all summer...this taillight really should be connected to the main battery, but that voltage is too high. I do not push the speed on this. I usually only ride at 12 mph or faster downhill. It is capable of going much faster. With a little pedaling and conservation I can easily go 50 or even 80 miles on one charge and average over 12MPH, which is impressive. I have had no flat tires and the tire wear is minimal at 1000miles. I think I can go 3-5000 miles on these tires. The bike still looks and operates like brand new. I am glad I bought it and enjoy riding it.

This is not my first E bike. I bought one a few years ago that was about $5000. This bike is absolutely excellent for the price. The packaging is phenomenal and the bike arrived with no damage. Assembly was exceptionally easy and they even include the tools to do it with. I am 6 foot 250 pounds and it goes up to 32 miles an hour with no problem This is a fantastic bike for the price. It is built well everything works. There are no rattles or other strange noises when riding it the seat is very comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this bike. It is bigger than I thought it would be. I had hoped to put it in my trunk or my backseat rather than have to buy a trailer hitch. I haven’t tried to fold it, but it looks easy enough. I’m not sure about the range yet, but I doubt it will go 60 miles. None of them do.
