Bought this for my father-in-law who would have to be on his side post surgery for several weeks, I did add a 2 inch foam mattress topper to it before first- use and we were very happy with the purchase. It worked very well for what our needs were.

Do not buy the other fold up beds ,get this one. Here’s the number one reason and the most important reason. Look at the back of the metal frame where the mattress lays on ,notice this model has slates and they are pretty close to each other which is great and they aren’t plastic, they are metal like the frame. The other brands ( I looked and you should too ) have skinny metal type wires and they aren’t even close to each other ,looks like a checkerboard but the spaces are big. When their mattresses lay on the metal wires that have too much empty space and their mattresses will sink into the gaps (bad for back) and eventually tear mattress from the weight. Go look at them,terrible design. Now look at this model and notice the slats on this model,so much better. This model by FYYXTEE has slats which is way better and will support your body ,no sinking in at all,especially if you buy an aftermarket mattress ,even tho the mattress that came with this is pretty decent. I see some say mattress is too big ,no it isn’t. When bed is folded up the mattress will stick out some because it’s new and can’t be bend enough when folding the bed,but that just tells you the mattress isn’t cheap soft soft foam. Now, when you open bed the mattress fits perfectly and it’s a nice tight fit so it won’t be moving at all. Now, putting this together was a bit of a pain, not bad but a little annoying,but the instructions were laid out good in the manual and parts were numbered which is handy. Getting the end railings in were a bit hard ,not too hard but it has to be like that for a tight fit. Some holes where the screws go were a tiny bit off but you can get them in with a little force ,you might not have this problem with your bed. I love that it comes with a cover when not in use and folded up and it covers entire bed ,not just top of bed. Plus it has a side pouch to throw in your phone or whatever and it comes in handy . The frame itself when all said and done is pretty sturdy when folded and way more sturdy when opened and laid on . I took away one star because somehow my bed came with everything but the wheels so we can’t roll it around on our wooden floors. I would’ve have given this folding bed 5 stars. I was able to contact the seller via Amazon help and they replied very quickly and are sending out the wheels.When wheels come I’ll come back and give 5 stars.

got this because i was tired of air mattresses going flat after a few uses for any guests i have over (got a 3 br house and 2 kids so there is no spare room) and overall it feels VERY sturdy and high quality. overall the mattress is what you would expect out of a memory foam cott, it doesnt match a legitimate mattress, but it is more than comfortable enough for a night AND it folds nicely with the mattress inside so its nice and compact! that all being said i will warn that it is exactly like your typical memory foam mattress and it smells quite strong until you let it air out, but once it is aired out, the odor goes away.

This bed was not what I expected, especially for adult use. At 5 foot 4 I barely fit the length. My husband who is 5 foot 10 hangs off the end. This is much better suited for kids than adults. I got this for my nieces and nephews for when they come stay the night with me. It will work for them as long as they are careful. The frame feels very thin and lightweight. I was nervous getting on it and I’m far below the recommended weight. Assembly was frustrating.Some bolts stripped immediately and some of the pre installed bolts had to be removed. One section would not go in without my husband using the included mallet with more force than should be necessary. There were also areas on the frame with rust and scuffing right out of the box. That is disappointing at this price point. The mattress is not too thick. It is too long for the section of the frame with the end bars that hold it in place. Once those guards are up it forces the mattress to bow because the usable length is shorter than the mattress itself. This feels like a design oversight where the mattress was sized before accounting for the guard bars. The mattress is somewhat comfortable. It moves easily with the wheels. It stores without taking up much space. Overall the quality is not there and I would not confidently recommend it.

Despite its weight, the wheels allowed it to be moved without excessive effort. It rolled smoothly across flat surfaces, and the folded form stayed balanced during transport. The weight is noticeable when lifting, but it contributes to the sturdiness of the frame when in use. From a build and durability standpoint, the metal frame held alignment through repeated folding without developing looseness at the joints. The locking mechanisms engaged properly and stayed secure during use. The mattress retained its shape after use and didn’t show early signs of wear. The construction feels well-built for long-term use while still maintaining practical portability when folded.
