The seat height was way taller than I expected—more like bar height, and some stools are even higher. I went with the middle size, thinking it’d be perfect, but I basically had to hoist myself onto it. I wanted it for an event table to easily go from sitting to standing, so be sure to measure carefully when choosing the height. I ended up getting the 26" stool, and it’s perfect. The 27" one was almost the same height as the table or counter—great for high-top tables but much more comfortable with a back. The backless ones weren’t as comfy.. Had a little stress with my order since they were running late right before a family gathering, which was why I picked them. I was pretty upset and told them I’d return the stools. But they quickly responded, got them to me on time, and even gave me a discount. They handled it well, so I’ll keep the stools and definitely shop with them again.

It is OK. I like the looks more than how I feel when I sit. I actually would give 3½ STARS because of its looks, height and portability. It feels comfortable but definitely not sturdy although some other reviewers say it is sturdy. When I sit this chair tends to move around a bit so it is not very stable. I like the black matte color which makes it look long of elegant. But at almost $90 it is way too expensive. For me this chair should cost no more than $50. It is rated to hold 300 pounds and I would not advice anyone waying more than 200 pounds to sit on this chair. I am not really sure if I will keep it but I may return it before 30 days if I find something better at a local store.
