Very, very happy with this desk! I had my eye on one that was similar, but it was near $2000. Found this one, read the reviews, realized it took 4 to 5 hours to put together, but everyone said it was worth it. We decided a $13-$1400 savings was worth four or five hours of our time. It most definitely was! I’m very happy with the look of it, the functionality of the mechanism and the drawers and shelves are fantastic. I have a suggestion or two for the manufacturer on how they can improve the backside of the desk by putting the fluted panels there as well. It would look nicer and hide the seams that you can see in the picture I share shared. I’ve decided I am going to get a panel of slatted wood, cut it to the perfect size of the back of the desk and adhere it. It definitely does take 4 to 5 hours to put together. Only one argument was had, in a couple of small mistakes were made after we decided to open a bottle of wine. It is extremely heavy, so I recommend putting it together in the room where you will be using it. Get it, I highly recommend it for the value. The media could not be loaded. Love this desk! It takes some serious work to put together but for the price it’s great! We did it in one night but that was mostly due to my ADHD. You definitely need 2 people for parts of the assembly.

Updating my review after having the desk for a couple weeks. Overall this is a 3 star desk which is probably what you can expect at the price point, its not solid wood and if you wanted that you would have to pay much more. Original review: Desk was supposed to arrive on a Saturday but only 2 of 3 boxes did, then the third box arrived on Tuesday. None of the boxes contained assembly instructions. Updated review: I assembled the desk and it does function. The height adjustment does function correctly and it is sturdy. There are some design issues I do not like. For example the left side of the desk has a power outlet on it but the access is under the part of the desk that goes up and down, so it’s not a practical location for this outlet because the plug can get smashed. In addition there is the cable guide hole on the outside of the desk on the side which is an eyesore, the cable guide should not be visible, it should be on the inside. The cavities where the desk legs are could be used for storage but they are not. To move it requires significant disassembly of the adjustable height mechanism. The laminate materials the top is made from have a rough texture so I will need to buy a pad for the top. Instead of the outlet being on the fixed bottom of the desk, it should be on the height adjustable part that the laptop and monitor sit on. The side part is a little small for an “executive desk”. One of the silver screw connectors on the inside of the desk on the right side is very visible in my room and it should at least have a sticker the same color of the desk covering it so it doesn’t stand out. The vendor was responsive to my concerns, ensured I received the item and delivered instructions to me. They replied in a timely manner given the time zone difference. ... show more
